Life on a government law college

The only negative part of the college is the non- existent campus area. The space is really compromised. The students could do good with some extra space and free air to roam around about during the free time period.

It's a five years course with two semesters per year so that's 10 semesters all total by the end of the five years . Also, instead of internal examination our college faculty decided to carry out project work and get all the students involved in it.

No, there aren't any direct placement or job opportunities offered by the college. As of internships, that's not provided by our college as well. It's all on the student to find an internship elsewhere.

Plenty of things are celebrated in our college, few as follows: Saraswati pujo- proper puja of goddess saraswati takes place followed by lunch for all the students. Fresher's party- for the new first year, students committee organises a party where some band performs, DJ night alongside a lot of things happen. Holi- all the students play with colours and dance and sing away

Since it's a government college the fee structure is pretty affordable. So it's definitely on the feasible side. At the begit of each semester a certain amount has to be paid so that's two times a year.

I haven't availed for any such facility and neither am I aware of any such thing provided by the college. Probably there is some minority claims but I don't have any knowledge about the procedure regarding that.

Yes, there is a common room for everybody to hangout in the free time. Table tennis, carrom board are present. The new building of our college also has separate girls and boys gym with the basic gym stuff.

Since it's a five years course seniors anyway play a very important part. All the important events are managed and carried out by the collective effort of the senior students. They are always ready to help out any student in need.

An entrance exam is held where students from all around the state and from outside take part in. Ranks are given out and according to that list colleges are assigned to each student and on the specified date admission is carried out.

I have mixed feeling about out college faculty, as there are few amazing teachers who are always there to help out a student in need or anybody facing any sort of trouble, not only academially but otherwise as well. Then, there is the other sort who just come and take classes unenthusiastically and go away.
