Remarks

The college is really good. So there is no need to worry. The surroundings is very pleasant and very calm which helps to concentrate on the studies. The college management is also very active. The quality of college is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am currently in BAF which is bachelor in Accounts and Finance. My course is of the commerce field. The exams are as per the time table provided by the Mumbai University. There are 2 exams in 1 year .

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes the placements are given after the graduation in Viva college. Good multi national companies give campus placement in my college. Specially for self finance courses and science field. So it is good.

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrated in Viva college. Mostly the events are celebrated in the month of February around Valentine's day. There is a week assigned for the events. The events are very colorful.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. The fees of my course is 17000 which is very affordable for my level of course. But the payment of fees is not flexible. It should be done in time or else the admission can be missed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any scholarships or loan facility offered by Viva college. The only scholarships or loan facility I know of is the scholarship for the SC/ST and other similar casts. So that's it I know.

Campus Life

4.5

Yes there are labs sports a available in my college that is Viva college. There is a gym Khana for games like table tennis chess and carrom. There is lab for IT that is computer. And all the computers are highly advanced

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I am not in hostel. I stay in virar so it's not so far from my home. It's 20 mins walking from my home. People from nalasopara and Mira road too come to my college. So it's not so hard reaching the college.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not sure about the alumni Network. But the senior students are really very helpful. I guess the alumni are helpful as well as I have not encountered them yet. The seniors will help you out of any situation here.

Admission

Merit list after 12th. Three lists are put on the board after that if your name is in the list then you have to pay the fees with required documents. So it's very easy to get the admission. The cut off list is decent.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college is very good. Infact my faculty is one of the best faculty in the list of Mumbai University courses. The other facilities are good as well. So no worries to take admission in my college.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
