Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is of 4 years where we are taught mechanical engg subjects. Along with that we have open electives and human values courses as well. Exams are conducted on semester basis, where we have 8 semesters.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are good at the college. With placement percentage of more than 80 and average package of 10-12 lacs. Mostly IT and Analytics company comes to placement along with few core companies as well.

College Events

Kashi yatra: The cultural event of IIT BHU where dance, drama, music and other competitions are held. Technex: The science event where robotics, aero modelling, SAE competitions are held where institutes from across India participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is earlier 50 thousand per semester which has now increased to 1 lacs per semester and along with hostel fees which is nominal about 800-1000 per semester. One can easily get loans at a very low rate of interest.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several scholarship available based on merit, income status of parents and several other. Scholarship based on semester CPI are also available. Apart from these several other schemes and scholarship are launched by government.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities similar to other IITs are quite vibrant and enriching. Labs are equipped sufficiently and proper lab instructors and tutors are there who are generally MTech students who are quite friendly and sincere towards labs.

Hostel Facilities

Yes it is compulsory to opt for hostel. The infrastructure is good and regular maintainence is done. Proper cleaning is done and washroom is almost clean and tidy.Room is little small and is shared by 2

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

IIT BHU has strong alumnus network and they are useful for students for foreign internships and projects. Since it is 100 yrs old college therefore we have alumni at high positions at most reputed companies.

Admission

Jee mains and JEE advanced rank list, must be under 3000 for general category to get into mechanical department of IIT BHU . After that counselling process which has 3 rounds and final round is conducted in one of the old IITs.

Faculty

Faculty of the college are well experienced and dedicated towards the subject. The minimum requirement of the faculty is PHD. We have faculty from various IITs and NITs and they are strict when it comes to discipline and studies.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the goveenment purpose i have choose that branch. The area is to be enhanced for better growth is the practical knowledge provided by faculties and including some equipments in the lab. Its not much difficult..but the checking of the AKTU is irrespective.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
