From small age, my ambition is to become a doctor so I chose this course It is very prepared for real world applicants May be teaching standards can be improved Way teaching is boring, that can be changed The exam is yearly once Days ofthe exam are too hectic

Internships Opportunities

As MBBS student we study for 5 and half years First 4 years we study and clear exams Next 1 and half years we do internship in our hospital Stipend given is 28000 We can learn more in internship And we can do more work

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees - 8500 for SC and ST Tution fees - 13600 for other categories Caution fees for hostel - 25000 Admission fees - 2000 Lab fees - nothing Book and record - 15000 in first year Community scholarship is available for all community except open category which gives 18000

Campus Life

Annually a culturals programme is conducted by us known as Paradox and Yazhisai in November There are lot of books available in our library Thera is a smart board in every lecture hall which used for projection of presentation We play daily after coming to hostel Sports we play are cricket, football, volleyball and basketball Yearly once we go for a sports meet We run a council in college which have a general secretary who represents us in in administration

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good They provide a study table, Cupboard for every one Three fans in each room Meal quality and menu are good Rest room is good and well maintained Overall my hostel is a good hostel It also has a ground

Admission

I applied for other good colleges but in counseling because of my neet UG score I got this college We havet write NEET UG for admission in Medical as eligibility Test Now I like my college It is also a well established college

Faculty

Faculty number is more as we have only 100 students per batch Faculty student relationship depends on faculty and the situation As they are doctors they are stressed at times so as a student we should understand the situation and behave according to it Totally there are 4 university exams in 5 years of course It is somewhat difficult One or two per batch Last year 18 students have failed in final year

Night Life

Hostel timing is upto 8.30 pm If we have to hangout we have travel for 10 kms atleast Near our college all facilities are available but hangout spots are not there Our favourite spot is any theater It is unsafe actually but other people also will be there so you should be conscious

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
