Dentistry is not easy

We practiced on maniquines onwards 2nd year during pre clinical; that will help in our posting from next year. We deal with real patients onwards third year upto internship; which improves our hand skills; making us more confident and experienced in this field. One thing which i like about the curriculum that, our faculty gives less time to write the exams during internals; so that we have a habit of doing fast in the university exam & having sufficient time to analyse the exam paper. They prepare us for the best.

Internship is provided by our college only. Every student should be intern in the college for 1 Year. Internship salary for students is - Rs.18000 per month. Interns are not allowed to stay in the hostels, so they stay outside the college by their own.

Festivals: Shivaji jayanti - during month of feb Ganpati - Aug- Sept Gathering - in the month of April Library has facilities of both online and offline. Many journals are available there to sit and read. All kind of Books related to the subject. Weekly issue system. Lecture halls are facilitated by projectors .

Hostel rooms : triple sharing room with spacious cupboard, table & chair and bed with a large mirror. Hostel mess food quality is average, menu is not maintained by them. But it is very affordable. One thing which don't like every sunday there is a mess off for one time, so for that we should go out to dinner.

I applied in KJMU, Lucknow before. I got rejected from this college because of not getting enough merit. I chose this college over others because it has ranking under top 10 govt dental colleges in your website. I got admission under AIQ counselling, eligibility for the admission to pass the Neet UG exam, according to the ranks we got selected. Neet UG only exam accepted for this course.

All the staff members are well knowledgeable, interactive. There is no difficulty with asking questions in anytime. Our college conducts 3 internal assessments in a year + Perlims before university exam. Internal assessments will reflect in our result. This curriculum of exams will help a lot to the students in improving throughout the year, ultimately it will reflect as a good result in university exams. I like Dr.Afshan Mam, faculty of Physiology, she is so hard working woman. She teaches us Physiology very well, also she helps to motivate us, asked to study. And give extra efforts to conduct extra curriculum activities like seminars, PCT, home assignments. She's one of the best faculty members. I also like Dr. Vaishali, faculty of Dental Anatomy, she is very concerned for our studies, and also she's very punctual, additionally she gives extra afforts to teaching us. I don't like any faculty member of Biochemistry, they just come to read PPT in the class.

Gymkhana is under construction right now. Cafeterias are well equipped with sufficient chairs and tables. Daily snacks are available after the college. Prozone mall - hanging out place for couples, movie theatre, shopping complex. 6. Siddharth Garden - Best picnic spot with aquarium, zoo, playing area, museum, food corners etc.
