Course Curriculum Overview

4

The overall curriculum for my branch is good. It helps in developing my skills in the area of my interests. But as we say there are some pros and cons of everything, some subjects are totally useless which we don't need to study

Internships Opportunities

3

There are not too much internship opportunities in my college. We have to do some virtual or online internship for one month . These internship have credits in SGPA. So doing it is compulsory. Example: Cisco Salesforce virtual internship

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. There are several companies like rinex technologies pvt ltd, h spider training and development centre Offers made to students are of 4-6lacs 70% of students get placed I will give GATE exam to pursue M.Tech

Fees and Financial Aid

Adm. Fee : ?10 Development Fee : ?2500 I. Card Fee: ?150 Insurance Fee: ?200 Tution Fee: ?120 Total Fees : ?2980 Yes this fees increases every year by about ?200 for Gen/EWS/OBC students For SC/ST it is ?100 less

Campus Life

4

There are some sports and cultural fests in college I October, January and February month named Umang approved by DSTTE,Bihar In library, books related to academics are always available There is cricket ground, badminton court volleyball court to show support students who want to achieve something in sports field

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are as luxurious as hotels .It provides a single bed ,3 lockers , 1 cupboard, and 1 study table Meal quality is too poor irrespective of a good menu. Registration process is too simple just apply for hostel if rooms are vacant you'll get it

Admission

I chose this college over college having poor rating than it. But I want to get admission to other colleges I applied for but couldn't get due to not fullfilling the cut off criteria. Admission process is just simple Give Jee mains exam and apply for UGEAC counselling and get admission based on your JEE mains score based on cutoff

Faculty

3

Faculties are overall good in teaching but as in bonding or connection between student and faculty not all students like every faculty. There are some faculties who are biased towards some students in both positive or negative ways

Night Life

3

As I previously mentioned that in this locality there are a very few gym, cafeteria. So nightlife outside college is so poor. In hostel there is no restrictions for in and outt timings The locality is not safe to roam at nights

Government Engineering College - [GEC], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is but outdated. It doesn't prepare much for real world applications but can help in preparing for higher studies or competitive exams. 75% attendance is mandatory .Even one day before exams , we need to attend classes. That has a scope of improvement for the college to focus on skills rather than theory knowledge only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am really interested in my course . The fees is affordable. The placement opportunity is good as well as here is the environment for government exam / engineering service exams . Different well qualified faculties are present in each branch . Every subject has faculty member. Each and every faculty is well educated . The minimum qualification to become the faculty of this college is Mtech . The faculty has passed GATE exam /BPSC exam . The term exams are timely , midsems are taken 1 month before the end sem exams . The level of the semester exams is sometimes moderate or tough . Students should have the depth knowledge of the subject .
