Course Curriculum Overview
The present course is equipped with Internships, moot courts, research work , drafting etc. Hence making the study of law more dynamic and interesting. The new education policy curriculum has been implemented in the University of Lucknow and it's affiliated colleges .
Internships Opportunities
There is no such internship opportunities and placements opportunities with which college can help you. You have pull up your socks and work hard to secure internships and placements opportunities. That is the harsh truth.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello! Myself Prabhat Srivastava, and at present I am pursuing my LLB ( 3yrs ) course from Narvadeshwar Law College affiliated with University Of Lucknow. So, coming to fee structure for 3 years LLB course , it is around 28000/ yearly, i.e around 14000 per semester. During my admission I paid around 14500 rupees for the first semester and from then I am paying around 14000 per semester. For 5 years LLB , the fees is slightly high around 22000 per semester. The faculty is good, they will help you but don't be over dependent on them, you will have to work hard and make extra efforts to secure good marks in the semester exams. The college does not provide any placement or internship like things, for this you have to make your own efforts from the first year itself. The college sometimes organizes moot court and essay writing and other such competition, you can take part in it. Apart from this, the college is equipped with library, you can get books issued for reading. The college is located near Chinhat, Lucknow.
Campus Life
The college is good. There are not much extra curricular activities and programmes but yes some times College organises inter college debate , essay and moot court competition. The library is also spacious and good with good sitting arrangements, only problem us that the books and journals are not the latest one, you have to read those old edition books.
Admission
I gave Lucknow University law entrance test and secured a rank 241, but still I was not able to secure seat from General category in law campus , University Of Lucknow, so therefore I went for my present College, Narvadeshwar.
Faculty
The faculty is not too good nor too bad, you have to work hard from day 1 if you want good marks in semesters exam, some teachers are very good, they explain things well while others just read through the books. At present there are around six to eight faculty members who are taking classes. There are internal exam of 30 marks which includes your attendance , conduct, and your test marks. The semester exams areof 70 marks. So total 30+70 = 100 marks paper. In internal exam mostly all students good marks around 22 to 26 out of 30. The present course curriculum is designed as per New Education Policy of govt. Of India, we are the first batch studying this new NEP based LLb course, now the course has been made more dynamic as you have to do internships and research work as there is paper internship in 3rd and 5 th semester , so now you have to do internships under the guidance of an advocate having at least 10 years of experience, then you have to prepare internship file sling with the internship certificate from the concerned advocate. So, yes from 2022 the new NEP LLB cousre has made the study of law more dynamic and interesting.
Night Life
There is no such thing in my college, yes if you want hang out after college you can approach the nearest mall and movie theatre that is Wave mall, near polytechnic chauraha, or crown mall, near BBD, there are some restaurants and tea stalls you can go over there as well.
