RGKTU Nuzvid is Remarkable!!

Civil Engineering as buildings and all were like I felt are my things. From making sand homes to finally building infrastructure today, it was the visionary and bland course of RGKTU that has helped me reach here. So, I would say kudos to our college as a lot of engineers graduate from our college and even batch still remember the kind of learning that our course provides to us.

Placements were definitely not subdued as top companies in real estate and Infrastructure building. Both private and government companies and one major company that has started coming from our passout year is Mazgaon Dock. I wish I could make it there but atleast 14 student of our batch were placed there.

The fees at RGKTU is slightly higher as it is also now IIIT Nuzvid. Hence, to study at such college, the fees is going to be commendable and it is the reason why almost 4 and a half lakh is what I had to pay every year. Scholarships for the needy and the ones who were from lower category was easily available.

The campus is huge and literally a next level thing to the eyes. 110 acres area size and in that 12 hostel and around that many academic blocks was amazing. Sports are a core here and we had both tech and cultural fests named Techzite and Cygnus respectively. Societies and clubs not just for fun but even societies for specific departments were also there so that made campus life amazing.

Around 8 boys hostels and all of them were air-conditioned. It was up to us to choose the kind of room we wanted. Even in food we had options as we could choose the mess accordingly. So, a four year stay at the hostel was indeed a lot of fun.

Look it was based on 10th merit as here it is diploma plus engineering and that too in four years time so, 10th score is all that matters here. Hence, the admission therefore becomes quite easy but it ain't just about the admissions but the interview and counselling after that which was little subdued i would say.

RGKTU ever since has come under central government the first thing they did was get the best faculties on board. Hence, the quality of teaching provided by them was such that we were totally in awe and sometimes it felt like applauding then for their beautiful efforts as they never left anyone behind.

A campus that don't have much around but a campus full of life was where nights were starry as we had to be at the campus by 10 pm. However we could roam at the campus for as long as we wanted and there was security always. Nearby we had few restaurants and outlets like Dominos and CCD are among some of them where we mostly went.
