Course Curriculum Overview

5

•As my course is Mechanical Engineering. •It includes 5 subjects in each semester and the whole course is of 40 subjects. • The relevance of each subject is of practical based application and this approaches the real life implementation. •There are many subjects of course which are of designing and building of parts and mechanisms. •College arrange an industrial visit for the each subjects. Which gives students real life implementation knowledge. • There are not as such requirement for the improvement in the curriculum. •The exams are carried out in each month. But as semester is of 5 months the Insem is carried out after one month from start of semester and there is gap of 3 month from Insem for the Endsem examination. There is also an preparation leave of one month for students to prepare for the exam.

Placement Experience

5

•Students are eligible for placement from 7 th semester. • Mercedes Benz -12 placement. Thermax-22 placement. Tata Motors -21 placement. And there are multiple companies such as Rolls-Royce, Polycab, Tech Mahindra, Nvidia and Microsoft etc. •The highest package offered in last year campus placement is of 22 Lpa by Mercedes Benz in mechanical department. •Also the placement percentage is of 88 percent for the last year and for current year 32 percent placements are already done. • My plans after taking degree are I will opt for higher education as iam preparing for GATE examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission I have to pay the tution fees of rs.54,522. And an extra fees of rs. 8000 which includes the library deposit, laboratory fees and exam fees. Also the tution fees remains same for rest of the years. F.E- tution fees 54,522. Extra fees- 8000 S.E-tution fees 54,522. Extra fees- NA. T.E-tution fees 54,522. Extra fees-3500. B.E-tution fees 54,522. Extra fees-NA. •One has to pay the extra fees in first year and third year only. Campus Life

4

•There are both technical and cultural clubs in the college which organises the many programmes and activities for students which helps them to grow their technical knowledge. Also the cultural activities helps students to pursue their hobbies. •There is an annual fest at MMCOE named as ENSEMBLE which is held in month of February of every year. There are multiple grounds available for cricket. There is also basketball court and volleyball court available at campus. Indoor games hall is also located at campus for students. •There are multiple student run social groups such as 'mic drop' which is an group for social exposure to students.

Admission

•I have applied for vishwakarma institute of technology (VIT pune) for Btech mechanical and Amrutvahini college of Engineering (AVCOE) for BE mechanical from these I got confirmed at AVCOE but there are limited placements records and the faculties available are not as good as faculties at my college. So that's why I choose MMCOE college. •Yes, I got rejected from VIT Pune and MIT pune because I cannot clear their cutoff marks criteria so I can't get in these colleges •The admission process is not so complicated you can get admission from 3 ways which includes Management quota, CAP rounds and Spot round. As I got admission through CAP there is an exam named as CET (Common entrance test) after the exam there is 3 rounds of CAP are carried out. In these rounds students has to fill the option form in this form students can fill their dream colleges with the branch they want in an descending order. Also there is an criteria of cutoff for each branch of every college. As a student clear the cutoff he/she is able to take admission in the college. There are 3 rounds of CAP process. As students is selected at an college he has to approach the college within fixed timings and secure their seats in their dream college

Faculty

4

•There are particular faculty for the particular subjects of your programme . •There is an Mentor faculty for batch of 20 students. If you have any difficulty other than academics you can contact to them without any hesitation they are always ready to help you out. •The exam structure of college includes two major exams in a semester which are Insem and Endsem. There are also unit tests of each subject after completion of a unit. •The faculty I liked most is Mr. Swanand Kirpekar sir and Dr. Swapnil lahane sir. They always helped me in my doubts and mentoring me as well. I can ask any advice to them without any hesitation. •The exams held by college has the moderate difficulty and the failure rate of students depends on their preparation as well.

Night Life

Other Applied Colleges

Amrutvahini College of Engineering - [AVCOE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering)

As per the placement and teaching quality the MMCOE college is more better than the amrutvahini college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
