Likes

Studies are good here. Some faculty members teach good and some do not teach that much good.

Dislikes

No auditorium, sports complex in the college. Proper facilities aren't there for playing games which are supposed to be played in indoor courts like badminton.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did not opt for ECE specially.I just got this course in counselling. I tried for CSE but I did not get it. I tried for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science also but did not get that course also.

Class Size: 81Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

I think students from 3rd year are eligible for campus placements but I am not sure about it. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, tcs etc visited our college for placements and internships. After getting the degree I plan to do masters in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee - 1,60,000 Hostel fee - 22,000 Mess fee - 20,000 Caution fee - 5000 for general category Don't know the fee for other batchmates for categories other than mine.Don't know anything about the other things that are mentioned above .

Campus Life

About sports, our college will select a few members for inter IIIT sports meet that takes place at IIIT Gwalior every year. Library in our college is good. We can find books that are useful in studying.

Hostel Facilities

There are four hostel blocks in our college for boys. The hostel in which UG1 students stay is newly constructed building. So it's good seniors say that hostel block one is not good. Food here is sometimes good and sometimes the worst food you eat.

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

I applied for some NIT's like NIT Allahabad , NIT Calicut etc and IIIT's like IIIT Allahabad , IIIT Gwalior etc and did not get those colleges. I had a chance to get admission in IIIT Kancheepuram AIDS but I heard the college I joined is good, so I joined this college

Faculty

The faculty is good. They clear the doubts when we ask them. Some are very strict during an exam invigilation. Discrete Mathematics and probability and statistics are the subjects that I find difficult.In sem 1 we have 2 mid terms and one end sem whereas in sem 2 we have one mid sem and 1 end sem which includes the syllabus from mid sem.

Night Life

There is gym in our basement. I did not go there but students and some of our lecturers go there every evening. There is waterfalls near tada to visit and it takes like two to two and half hours to visit by local train.

i will arete my course was 8 because i love coumputers language based on the intrest of my own i took this cource. we work on realtime projects to develop the ability and to complete with the present trend in the coding world .the teaching method in my campus was great they provide us the best content to learn new things evary day. we perform in labs great with our coding skills . the esam in my campus conduct evary 3 months once based on the topics we learn from the start of semister which is very easy for me to perform in the eaxms best way .

The First Year experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their 6th semester or 3rd year The companies visited were TCS, cognizant etc... The Highest Package was 30Lakhs and the average package is around 7lakhs. A good Percentage of students get placed every year with a decent package.

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply.
