- As a student of Nerim Group Of Institutions the canteen food if not as good as other institutions.
- The fees structure of the college is very expensive, no one can easily afford it.
- Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course i.e department of business administration because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience, covering essential business disciplines such as finance, marketing, entrepreneurship etc.The coloured provides Diploma in Computer Applications(DCA) which enhances technical skill. The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make graduates well equipped for jobs. The college should provide election options in the upcoming semester for specialisation. The exam is conducted in every six months for 75 marks and the rest 25 mark is added from the internal exam.
Internships Opportunities
The interships are provided by the college in the month of April-May for the 5th semester students, the names are Pantaloons, Greenwood Resort, Bisleri etc with a minimum stipend 5000-10000. The internship officer facilitates interaction between students and potential employers from various corporate houses.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester the BBA students become eligible for campus placements. The companies such as ICICI Prudential, Bajaj Allianz, Amul Company etc. The highest package in BBA is 5 lpa and the average package is 3 lpa. The students must not have failed(arrear) in any subject otherwise he/she not eligible for the interview and those students have secured highest mark in the interview he/she will be selected. I will go for masters and search for jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my course i.e Bachelor of Business Administration is 28000 per semester. The exam fees is 1250, the registration fees is 1500, enrolment fee is 300-500. And no charges have to pay for the course, the per year fees as a whole is around 60000-65000. The fees of bachelor of commerce is around 25000 per semester not including exam fees and registration. BA.LL.B includes 30000 per semester means in every six month. Also the college have the Postgraduate program such as Master of Business Administration(MBA) which costs nearly 100000 per semester which is 4 lakh for 2 year. The Master of commerce (M.Com) fees is all total for 2 years is 1.5 lakh.
Campus Life
The fests(program) hosted by the college from the month of February i.e from Saraswati Puja then after Foundation Day which is in 16th February in which the cultural program, cultural rally, sports etc are held by the college authorities. In the month of May, NEERAM program is organised for 2 days which includes singing, dancing, fashion-show etc. The Orientation Program and Freshers in the month September which is an welcome program for the juniors which is held in the college campus by the management. The institute library consists library houses around 25000 books covering subjects like law,commerce, management etc. It subscribes over 30000 online journals through portals. The classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, digital projectors and comfortable sitting arrangements.
Admission
I had applied 2-3 college and I got selected in this college. I choose this course i.e department of business administration because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make graduates well equipped for the jobs. Yes, i got rejected in one college and also I got confirmed admission in B.Booruah College, as I heard about the placement of Nerim Group of Institutions which is better than B.Booruah College so I choose this college. The admission process is very simple, the candidates must have secured minimum 50 percent in the 12th exams to get admission in this college.
Faculty
The Head of the Department (HOD) is Dr. Karabi Goswami has earned an MBA,NET,and Ph.D., specializing in Human Resources and Marketing the educator specialized in various sub-disciplines of Business Administration, ensuring a better learning experience for the students. The well qualified faculty members dedicated to providing quality education in business and management.
Night Life
The cafeterias is in the college campus which is open closed at 8 pm and library is closed at 5pm and college gate in the summer at 7pm and in the winter at 6pm. The college has provided separate boys hostel and girls hostel. The hostel is closed during the festive season. Nuts and brew a popular venue offering a vibrant nightlife experience outside the college campus.
