Likes

My classess are too good and my class rooms are very clean
Faculty of my university was very good and all the staff was good
There are many water points in front of classes and in every block there is a lift for students and staff

Dislikes

If we are 2 min late in our class time then they will don't have attendance
There are not proper sitting arrangement of my class
There are no security in our class rooms

Course Curriculum Overview

There are course curriculum in my university.Every month there is a mst (Mid semester test ) of 20 marks which was adjusted in est (end semester test) .The time management in exams are good like in mst there is only one hour and in est there are 3 hours.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee of whole semester is around 200000 with hostel,tuition fees, caution fees, examination fees.First we will pay 10000 in advance to book seat in the college.After that there is a scholarship test for students those are clear there fee is less .

Campus Life

There are many functions in my university like they celebrate every festival like lohri diwali all .There are fresher's party also and also in every starting of new semester there is a tashion night which was organised by a student team.

Admission

Firstly I applied chitkara University in same course but I didn't get admission in this university so I try this chandigarh university and I will got admission in this university.The admission process like first they check the students status and their percentage of secondary school examination then they will take exam of that student.

Faculty

The faculty nature of my my university was too good.They are friendly with their students and solved there all problems with no anger .I like my communication mam because it's nature is too good for students and it is very good for doing studies

Night Life

The nightlife of my university is very good .There are many facilities for students who are living in hotels like in every hostel there is a gym libraries and study room also .There are many caffy like Domino's, italian pizza etc.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Placement Experience:

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
