Remarks

I would want each student to experience this institute''s life at least once. People who are willing to pursue hotel mange mentioned or need a sorted environment for completing their graduation degree should just land here. The kind of support, encouragement, warmth infrastructure and also the crowd provided is exceptional and worth to give 3 years of your precious life to.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is as per the guidelines of Mumbai University. It is not very vast but yes it is very helpful. The core departments where you are educated and given exposure to are Front Office, Kitchen, Food & Beverage service and Housekeeping. Apart from these subjects, the institute focuses on personality development and leadership workshops which is by the institute itself and not from the university. And surprisingly, the only HM college in India which truly focuses on students' development and growth as future generation leaders.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. The college doe's provide internship. Moreover it is under the guidelines of the curriculum that the 3rd semester is an Industrial Training where we have to select a brand of hotel to work with then appear for an interview with the brand and if selected a 4 and half month training is done on the practical grounds of hotel management. Simply one can enjoy a glimpse of the working of a hotel from the inside. All brands provide different stipends from 1k to 5k per month for 5 months.

Placement Experience

5

Placements and job opportunities are like never before. Domestic and local placements are taken care by the institute. Only if the student has some other plan, the institute does not force them for job interviews otherwise the faculty is very supportive to help in deciding the suitable department for each student if one is in confusion. Placements are made in brands like Taj, Oberois, and many such known brands.

College Events

5

We celebrate all sorts of events.Be it festivals, annual college day, college culturals. As because we are affiliated to The Park hotels, we do enjoy celebrating events involving the hotel. We have out theme dinner as an event which is organised and executed by the final year students where the sponsors and alumni are invitation along with university authorities and people from different hotels like their managers, etc. We have sports days as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me, the fee structure is feasible as compared to the facilities we are provided with, be it the infrastructure, the teaching aids, the faculties and every other event. There is a little hike in each semester fee by a 1000 rupees or so. But the exposure and differences as compared to other colleges which are enjoyed here are worth th few extra penny shedded from our pockets.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. The institute provides scholarship to students for which one has to appear and once approved by the organisation, they are granted a half fee scholarship for the academics. Applying for the same is also not difficult.

Campus Life

4.5

In extracurricular activities, the most important are the workshops carried out twice a year for all there years which are based on personality development. Then we have the culturals where we participate in events like dubs mash, groupies, Mr. And Ms. Ethnic, college, thumb painting, rangoli making, best out of waste, eloqution, best manager, debates, quizzes and much more. For sports day, we have 2 days one for indoor sports like tennis and badminton and the other day for outdoor sports like marathon, relay, cricket, football and short put. All the extra curricular are just worth participating in.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel for boys and girls are different and easily commutable. Both are located in different locations but at places which are near to facilities like shops, stationaries, easy transportation and good crowd. Hostel is checked for any physical issues or checks by the principal and vice principal every once in a while for security purposes.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is accessible and contactable. The faculties also encourage to bond with the alumni. They are called for the Theme Dinner event which is specifically dedicated to them. All are placed in big brands are helpful in terms of being supportive and academically as well.

Exam Structure

It is similar to most of the colleges. We have a biannual semester pattern. There 6 semesters of which the last semester is specialization where we select the core departments and appear for those subjects and 3 other complied subjects such as management, hr and marketing.

Admission

First they schedule an interview where the hod or the principal and vice principal sir take ask you questions related to you and the application you filled and a few general questions on current scenarios or your view about a particular thing. The second round requires you to appear for an online test which is a mcq quiz type. The third round is writing an essay. Successfully clearing all these rounds lands you in this amazing college.

Faculty

5

The faculty is all experienced and friendly. They pay personal attention to all the students and also are very encouraging and motivating. They show believe in you which helps you achieve your goals faster and make you a better person in life. In my life they have played a guardian''s role and I am sure I will always be in touch with them,
