Course Curriculum Overview

4

MCC has the best cirriculum opportunities for everyone be it carmalites or outsiders. The student council with the help of students make events successful and innovative where it is fun to be interactive and also helps in resume building But sometimes the events held by individual associations are not quite upto the mark as the reasons might be due to occupied classes or clashes of events on the same time.

Internships Opportunities

4

The placement cell really helps students to get hand on experience to build resume and also get an overall idea about the companies and their working conditions. MCC actually gets really good companies like KPMG, Wipro, Goldmansachs and many more where you get a real world experience of how you handle the stress and top managment orders.

Placement Experience

3

Our college has good placement cell cordinator because most of the students are placed in good companies The college actually makes you register and give fees and then you can avail for the benefits from the training. The training is given for the final year students whereas internships are open for all the years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure: this is the big one. Its what you pay for the actual education part and its often the highest fee, some colleges increases it by a certain paercentage each year usually around 5-10% The fees in MCC differs by category be it general, obc, sc/st Our college have fee concessions or even fee waviers for students from these backgrounds. MCC also provides scholarships on merit based, need based and government scholarships for the capable students and well deserving. If you have got good academic score etc

Campus Life

4

My overall experience with MCC is quite interesting as I got to lern new things, made good moments and enjoyes alot. The fest held by our college is one of the best thing happend encouraging the cultures etc. The access to library is given when you have your ID card with you but there are alot of options to rent, read. MCC also encorages sports as it arranges inter college competitions which are fun to watch.

Admission

I had MCC in my mind while i was in school, I felt this was the college where I wanna learn new things, get experience and have alot of fun To me MCC is topped in every parameter compared to other colleges. I had just applied to MCC and got a acceptance letter followed up with an interview with the sister principle. The college has a bit long process for the selection but I think its totally worth it.

Faculty

3

Our college i feel has one of the quality staff members, meanwhile there are teachers who are not co-operative but talking as a whole, I had a good experience with the teachers making us understand concepts. The examination center might quite be hectic as sometimes the paper set is incredibly hard where we cannot progress after reading the first question. I feel the odd semesters are made hard for students to pass particularly the practical subjects.

Interview Experience

4

No there was no GD or any such test, we only had a 2min interview with the sister and then got accepted in the college. In the interview we were asked about why are we intrested in this college and our past academic knowledge.

Night Life

3

MCC hostel timings are very restrictive that is till 6 in the evening, after which they are not allowing you to step out of college. The area around are college is really safe and good where we can roam without the being scared or anything. They provide alot of facilities which includes gym also but they are not easily accesible and are in very isolated places.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
