Course Curriculum Overview

In Present generation, where ever we see AI (artificial intelligence) plays major role ... So i think learning this subject at present may be very beneficial for future..Ai is used everyday by us in different aspects ...so building up it day by day is the only aspect we have but in a right way ..

Internships Opportunities

As iam a first year student I don't know much about it ..but when I enquired about this with my seniors they said that companies like infosys,tech mahendra etc .. have offered jobs to the students.. as I have mentioned before 8lpa is the Highest package from our college

Placement Experience

Students from 3-1 semister are eligible for campus placements...the offices like infosys,tech mahendra ,intel etc have visited our college and provided placements .The highest package is 8lpa and the avg package is 4-5 lpa. Percentage of students getting placements is about 60% My plans after this btech is to try for GATE or else do Mtech and then get a good job with worthy package for my skills

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise actual fee of our college is 60k and jntu 4k crt training fee 6k but as I have joined here through counselling I have claimed reservation and scholarship.Though this are normal fee, they include other fee

Campus Life

Yeah I have only completed 1 sem in this college but enjoyed alot with my friends including studies..this college conducted many competitions like for example - ccc competition based on c language, ews project expo etc here we can gain our knowledge... Apart from these there are many cultural events and sports to show not only studies but also sports are important for students.. really thankful to the college

Hostel Facilities

Yeah hostel facility is a bit adjustable ... Beds are provided there are many sharings according to us 12,8,6,4and 2 members sharing..but the washrooms are common for the floor .. they provide shelfs to keep cloths etc ..they provide study table for learning..hostel is affordable... It's free starts form 52000 according to the sharing

Admission

I have applied for other colleges tooo ... But as my rank was not worthy for them I got seat in St Mary's Group of institutions Hyderabad... As I thought first the college was totally reverse of my expectations ..anyone can join this college by writing Eamcet or through donation..this college we can learn our course in affordable fee

Faculty

Though I got seat in normal college,I think I got a good understanding faculty who help me out to have a great future ..I like my( maths ) Radhika mam alot ..she explains the concepts thoroughly so that each and every point is clear to students..and (ews )naresh sir he explains the concepts very depth not only them also each and every teacher is like that ...so we can understand the subject

Night Life

Library in our college is the peaceful place to study ... Yeah as I leave in college hostel ,for girls timings are morning 7:30 am to 6:00 pm till these timings we can roam in the campus ,after these timings we are not allowed to go out of the hostel ..my favourite hangout place in this college is mountain dew spot where we frnds gather and hangout

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
