My SVIT Experience

1.The course curriculum for Electronics and Communication Engineering branch is very relevant to real world industry applications. The focus of this college to keep the course industry centric for the student's benefit influenced me to choose this course. 2.The course prepares us well for real - world applications and future academic pursuits because it teaches key aspects of the ECE field incorparted in all subjects with a clear focus of developing the students to be the frontrunners in both industry and further academic pursuits 3. The college puts a lot of emphasis on projects in corelations with our studies so that students understand topics with its real world applications. This helps us understand these topics better and in a more fruitful way.

Companies like HP, Dell, ISRO, Tech Mahindra and TCS provide internship for student with stipends ranging around 30000Rs Companies also offer students PPO after these internships which allows students to secure their career while learning with industries experts.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th Semester Companies that visisted are college include HP, Mindtree, Amazon, TATA, Raymond and many more. Number of offers made was around 80 Highest package offered was 12LPA and average 5-6LPA in the last placement drive. Almost every student gets placed during Campus placements My plan after my degree is to get a job in the ECE field and improving my skills with industry expers and Secondary my focus is to pursue higher studies with my masters.

1.Year - wise fees paid for my branch is 20611Rs 2.Tuition Fees for Electronics and Communication Engineering is 20611Rs and Addition Skill Lab fees 30000Rs which includes Study Materials, Labs, Uniform and other Ammenities 3. Student applying through Management quota pay upto 350000Rs and KCET counselling students pay 200000Rs yearly 4. Our college provide a number of scholorships for Women and Financially Weak students helping them pursue their career and studies.

Here 3 main events happen every year-: SANCHALANA : It is an annual fest conducted every year for atleast 1 week. TECHVIDYA: Technical fest conducted every year which includes hackathons and other tech competitions. KANNADA RAJUTSAV: Cultural event organised every year. Our Library has a vast collection of books along with some of great journals and research papers. We can also access those books online also. We do have some clubs such as ROTARACT CLUB - social awareness club, SANGAMA CLUB - cultural club Freshers Induction program also happens every year Classrooms are attached with state of the art projectors SPORTS MEET is also held every year which includes football, badminton, table tennis, and basketball Coding Club run by Students and it is a beneficial club and hostel fest also occur every year.

Hostel provides a great facilities to us Each room has 3-4 students residing. The hostel provides us with study table, chair and bed. Students will need to bring mattress and the rest. Rooms are cleaned regularly and well by the cleaning staff. Meal in the hostel mess is great It is a great blend of different types of dishes so it is great for all the students. The food is given on time and there is no restrictions put on students Registration for Hostel can be done after the admission process or any time later The fees of hostel and mess is 85000Rs is total The locality is great if one rents a room or takes PG. There is all the ammentities shops and restaurants in the market near the college

1. I gave the ComedK exam and scored well I was getting options of many good colleges 2. I also applied for SVCE, AIT, REVA and PESCE but switched to this college as I liked its course, faculty and facilites provided to the students. 3. Students can apply for admission through ComedK, KCET and Management. The eligibilty is 45 percent of more in Board Exam and a rank in competive exams in case of admission through Comedk and KCET

1. Faculty to Student ratio here is very good Each department has 7-8 faculites. The faculty - student relationship here is great and they are very approachable Faculty members incourage students to reach out to them in case they need any help. 2.Our maths proffessor, Naveen Sir is a great teacher. His teaching methods make the course topics crystal clear. He also provides us with great study materials and question banks to help us in our exam studies. 3.There are 2 Interanal Assesment exams in each Semester with 1 Semester Exam at the end of the semester. Almost every student clears these exams with no back. The course curriculum is very industry centric and updated regularly.

1.No the admission process is only based on the student's rank in competitve exams like ComedK and KCET. 2. The admission process is quite simple and is well facilitated by the college staff The criteria for admisison is 45 percent or more in board exam and the rank in Comedk or KCET

There is a great gym in our college The timings for the gym is 6:30 to 8:30 in the morning and 5:00 to :30 in the evening College campus opens at 6 in the morning and closes and 9:30 in the night Hostel also closes after 10:30PM There is a flourishing market near this college with a lot utility shops and eataries. There are many PGs for both boys and girls near the college like SLNS and SLNG PG. There are a lot of good restaurants and cafes near this college for students to visit and enjoy There is also a gym near this college.
