Remarks

this university is pretty decent from all the competitions, as they offer a lot on different fronts at a reasonable cost. But the management aspect of this college is way below average, as the rule of no phone using in the campus, restriction on tech for the law students. not being able to maintain equality in all the courses and their students and faculity.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was on a experimental bases and changed quit a few times resulting in confusion and irregularities but by the end of the 4th year the curriculum was well thought of and efficient as well as effective.

Internships Opportunities

after very semester internship was an important part of our course curriculum, but during our batch internships were very restrictively offered and the quality was average. mostly students arranged their own internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

for Our batch of 2011-2016 placements were offered but not a well paying or tier 1 or even 2 companies and firm, pretty restricted and unsatisfying job opportunities, resulting in yet students to arrange their own jobs in their desired places and firms.

College Events

4

As stated the college was engineering as well as management and law, event in the college were diverse in nature from the engineering events of robotics and etc, to management students hosting TeDx, to law schools moot court, client counseling and etc, to a college overall event to happen once a year for 3 days in the month of October Momentum, which comprised of dance, singing different branches hosting their event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

university being situated in Delhi NCR, the cost was nominal in nature, different courses having different fee structure, but it is quit feasible as compared to Delhi NCR colleges. For law school is was 8,20,000 rupees for total 5 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarship is offered by the college by fulfilling the criteria prescribed by them, like making into dean's list by scoring cgpa above 8.5, being a domicile of Haryana, being underprivileged or any other criteria as they deem fit at the time. offer of 20% to 90% scholarship on these criteria

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities are the center point of this college, as from offering sports being like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball etc to gym to events like sports meet in other colleges. labs for the B.tech, events related to management students ASL, TEDx etc. for law students moot courts debatue. Theater club, dance club, sports club all are offered and is the part of the college.

Hostel Facilities

2

for this college, the hostel facilities and infrastructure is way below average, as the building in which they run hostel are not their own instead on rent, resulting in pretty mediocre infrastructure and with so many course running in this college seats are very limited for hostel resulting in only few student to get hostel for the first year.

Alumni/Alumna

for the batch of 2011-2016 the senior students were very limited, with only 15 student for senior class. but in spite of that were very helpful in nature. alumni network is pretty week as compared to rest of the colleges, but for every quarter alumni news latter is sent by the college to help student be in touch to the college.

Exam Structure

As this university is primary an engineering and management college, the law exam structure had elements from that, but the involvement of moot courts and projects were taken more important, resulting in the proper practical and theoretical balance.

Admission

As this university offered BBA.LLB as a integrated course after 12th, one had to give law entrance test either CLAT or LSAT, and the marks obtained were the criteria to be selected for an interview and than the interview taken by the department head.

Faculty

2.5

as the course was a 5 year and a professional course it had to have well suited faculty so that it helps student to excel. but it was a roller coaster as faculty were not permanent and changed quit often.

Course curriculum is completely good. It's so good that you get to know things like letter wise, so it's proper perfect and faculty is also good. They try their best to make you understand. Things can even ask them if you don't feel you got it then, and also they answer you, and they have a good relation with students like not a strict teacher kinda they're open about things and talk to students help them not such academic in their personal life. Also, so that's something good thing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is extremely poor, The pedagogy is weak and the lectures are the least interesting. Some professors are gems in this coal mine but the wider picture is abysmal. The teachers force you to write and the use of gadgets even for notes is discouraged. There is no academic calendar and exams can happen anytime with prior notification of a month, The results are also delayed; Expect anywhere between 4-6 months of the declaration of results.

In L.L.B. (Hons.), the student becomes eligible for placement after the completion of their second year for PPOs. Also, after giving their sixth semester exams, the students are eligible to sit in placement drives. For law, top tier law firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan and Khaitan, Luthra and Luthra, litigation lawyers etc. visit the campus for placement drives. Over 90% of the students are provided placements with the aid of the university. My plans also include placement through college in law firm after completing my degree.
