PU-the best experience

there is no any negative remarks from my side. only positive remarks are there PU is very good university, its environment, its campus and its study everything is safe and good. very safe for girls. there is no ragging in this univeristy

It is just oasum. here, teachers are very helpful, cool and very interactive. they teach very well. they have enormous knowledge of their respective subject. teachers don't pose burden on students. they complete their course syllabus on time.

yes. Panjab University provides different internships but i belongs to Science stream. so, in science stream there is one Microbiology based internship program in which the department itself plans and provides the hands on training to students and outsiders too, but unfortunately they cost 10,000 per student

yeah. placement and job opportunities are good. almost placement is from all departments and streams like from engineering, dental, economics etc. PU name is enough for getting good jobs. so, yeah it is good in terms of getting job. PU has its own placement cell which provides jobs to students of various streams.

diwali, holi, basant panchmi, dusshera, navratra , 15 august, 26 january that is almost every event is celebrated here. also, many star nights are organised there and lots of cultural festivals are organised

fee structure is fear. due to its semi government nature, it provides food and accomodation to students at fearly low cost than the outside city. also, accomodation is very good. campus environment is very good and ambient.

there are many scholarships for poor students to study like there is half fees for poor/ low income students and family. for getting phd, there is one entrance exam based fellowship that is 10,000 rupees for first ranked student

PANJAB UNIVERISTY is really a good and big platform for going on further in social and extracurricular activites. it has lots of exposure for students according to their interest. so, anyone who wants to go further in his/her interest or passion, can continue.

wow. just wow. there are 10 girls hostel and 1 interntaional hostel. there are 8 boys hostels. hostels have all facilties like gym, common room, garden, study room, wifi, laundary room and lift etc. hostels are very clean and food is also good and clean.

yes there is huge alumni network and lots of senior student s are on linked in and they are really very helpful. in any program of PU, they come for get together and they feel proud to be a PANJAB UNIVERSITY alumni

exam structure is semester wise. in one year , two semesters come. in both semesters, half half syllabus is covered so there is less burden on students for exams and regarding syllabus. so, in semester system based exam first semester occurs in december and second semester exam occurs in may

i got admission by first filling the entrance exam form and then giving entrance exam and then on the basis of rank i got admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh. according to rank, they allocate seats priority wise.

faculty is good. Highly educated and very polite and interactive. they provide good education and complete their course work on time and don't pose too much work load on student side. faculty includes all age variation like some faculty is young and some are super-senior.
