- Their University that is PTU usually gives mass supplies without any justification
- Hostel is very teribble , the food they provide is made up of low quality of raw materials
- Sometimes They take Useless charges from students
Course Curriculum Overview
I took BBA to gain knowledge and insights about the business terminologies and to gain knowledge about finance,, marketing ,, economics The college also took us to industrial visitis and we learned a lot from them. I think the teachers can be more helpful for students They take 2 MSTs in every semester and the timings are 9:30 to 11:00 for MSTs and the MSTs are of 24 marks,, The PTU exams that are final semester exams of 60 marks
Internships Opportunities
There are internship programs in the college and yhe companies like Grazzetti ,, microsoft ,, Offfer students internships with stipends Projects are basically related to the field students they choose , various domains are available for internships
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for their placements from the 2nd year of their degree and it also depends on the skills the confidence they have. Google , Microsoft , Accenture, Mahindra, Ola they have visited and offered students a lot like 10 LPA , 15 LPA Percentage of students getting placed 70 percent My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for govt exams
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fee is about 78200 Registeration fee is 10000 which is deducted from the semester fee The fee may vary from various courses like BTech 65000 and so on The college provide scholarships for students of Punjab who have scored well in their 12th class
Campus Life
Parivartan is the college's'main event that happen every year, Also Lohri is celebrated every year and the freshers parties are arranged Library is full of books, newspapers, journals and a lot more books for other exams also Technical provisions like projectors are available in every class A lot of sports activities happen in the college every year sports event happen after every 6-7 months There are a lot of clubs Under DSW department of the college
Admission
I have applied to a lot more colleges with it,,like DAV , SD , PGGC and i also got selected but i selected the CGC landran because they were good at placements than others , Also the campus was far better than the colleges I had applied for I get rejected from college like DAV due to its high cut off that was 96 percent and i got 86 percent in my 12th class The admission process is very simple you can simply contact CGC through online site and you have to give your 10,12 DMC and adhar card and the charges for admission are 11000 from which 10000 are deducted from the semester fee For admission you need more than 60 percent in 12th class
Faculty
Although the teachers are very helpful,,they help during exams , Also give important questions during MSTs ,, But PTU exams are very difficult. But although if you prepare well you can pass the exams easily , The registration fee they charge for every semester exam is about 2000
Night Life
The Gym is okay and the cafeterias are good public areas like parks are good Hostel timings for girls are only till 7:30 Pm which is noy so good Outside college there are a lot of places to visit and eat
