Remarks

The infrastructure and faculties are very good. Although they have a police of strict discipline. So if you are thinking of a college where you can bunk lecture or do time pass then this is not for you. Attendance is very important in this college. They won't let you give mid semester exams if you don't have 75%+ attendance. The food in canteen is also not that great. They have a fixed time for students when they can have food from canteen. If you are hungry at any other time you won't have any food from there.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is very intense , the course is made in the way by which a student will get in-depth knowledge of mechanical subjects. The college have separate labs for each practical subjects of the curriculum where students can get there hands on mechanical equipment and learn through them. There are viva and assignments every month which refreshes the memory of students amd they retain the knowledge that they gained.

Internships Opportunities

The college provide in house training which make sure that every student learns the basics of industry and provide the ability and skill sets to have a better career ahead. No there is no stipend. As the college provide all this on its on account.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are plenty of companies which comes in the placement season. Every year new companies join the pool. Also the students can sit if they want in a company other then his/her own field. Proper training is given throughout the curriculum for placements. All this makes a student very suitable candidate for any company.

College Events

1

There are plenty of events every year celebrated in our college. Every national festival is celebrated. Our own cultural and tech fest is celebrated every year. Spandan is one of the biggest festival that is held in our college. Other than these there are plenty of festival which are celebrated according to the availablity of the time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is quite feasible. Generally engineering colleges take a huge amount of money for four years. But svce is not a college which goes for your money. The fees for 4 years is around 2.8 lac which include bus service.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester toppers get cash rewards on the big events. Also there is scholarship for sc/St students. Otherwise the fees is not that much , so it is quite affordable for everyone. But if one has to take loan , any bank will give a student loan very easily.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a basketball court , a football ground , cricket ground. There is facility for table tennis , carrom , chess and also there is a volleyball ground. All sports gears are available. There are many computer labs in the college and also they have a computer lab in the library for research purposes.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel facility. As it is not that far away from the city there is not that big need of a hostel. Students can easily get rooms nearby. The college infrastructure on the other hand is quite good. Looks very modern.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are doing great in there career. If you maintain contact with them , they can be really helpful. Many alumni are working with MNC'S doing over sea project. They are very helpful in guiding. They are the best people to get advice from. But the students themselves have to take the initiative by talking to them.

Exam Structure

The basic RGPV pattern is followed. There is semester exam. Mid term test are conducted. There are viva nd assignments whose number are counted for the final scores. Every semester have two mid semester tests in it. Students can try to maximize there score in these mid sems to get a better overall score.

Admission

After my 12th I gave JEE MAINS in which I got 37 around marks , through this score I got svce. During the form filling process they ask you to fill all those colleges that you want to apply to so that's how I got the admission in svce.

Faculty

4

Faculties are highly educated and had done there education from prestigious institute's. Each and every faculty has a vast experience of their field and they have different learning techniques which make difficult subject of mechanical a very easy to do task.
