Course Curriculum Overview

3

I must say with the growing technological age AI is meant to be taking control of everywhere, and if you control AI there's anything and everything you could do, that is why i opt for CSE-AI. As a first year first sem student we are being taught every type of engineering in the first year like electrical, mechanics, drawing, physics, chemistry which sometimes seems illogical yet relevant to have a knowledge of every field. So i am yet to experience the curriculum benefits in the real world. The frequency and timing levels of exams is too slow of aktu board, my every friend in other boards or universities have already strted their 2nd sem with the start of year and we are yet to give our end sem exams. I think it makes us lack behind the student around us even though they are taking their time for the exams, it still is too much late.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I am a student of Gniot currently Pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in AI. Our college is affiliated with A.K.T.U (Abdul Kalam Technical University) board which is not that good. SO , firstly you'll have to fill the form which was 1200/- Then, For the Fee for my course is - • for 1st year 1,55,000 /- • for next 3 years -1,50,000 every year /- Which makes the total of 605000/- With add on of Uniform fee - 5500/- (Separately from the total fee) Moreover - Every sem exam Fee -7500/- ( A.K.T.U) Certain scholarships are also available like for UP domicile students and my friend who got admission by his jee score got a discount. ( he told me ).

Campus Life

2

Nothing has happened from the admissions till now ( been 6 months approx) Only freshers for 1st and 2nd year took place, which was pretty decent. There is a big library with a number of books, so it's decent too. The conditions of Sports is too bad, i must say worst. No proper facilities or courts for particular games. A single small ground not maintained. And haven't seen any clubs in our college since this date.

Admission

So the real reason is i took this college on a recommendation of my friend who is in 3rd year in IIMT , he recommended that gniot is good over his college or many of them. The thing is I exactly didn't get rejected by the college but because of my own , that is i did not attempt jee mains or any exam so was unable to fill the forms of many colleges which mostly requires one. Admission process for Gniot is - Direct Admission : in which you can give a exam online or at the college , entrance exam sort of which is basic and eazy. Aggregate %age in pcm only must be 60% atleast. If they are declining online, must visit the college offline as they offer directly sometimes. - counselling : through counselling and score of jee mains. Admission is pretty eazy but i recommend not to opt for a college and go for a university instead. I know as a new 12thie some of you wouldn't get the difference bw clg and uni which universities are on their owns while under a uni there are 50's or 100s of colleges affiliated to that university board. Eg - aktu, Ipu

Faculty

In a single class there are 60 student each (in mostly classes) The faculty student ratio depends on how social can you yourself be with the faculties, you can ask them doubts and questions. They are pretty approachable which I liked. As in First sem first year , I have got all good faculties Sachin sir - fundamentals of E.E Neha mam - Engg Physics Ritu mam - E.V.S Vineet sir - P.P.S Shobha mam - Engg Maths Jkt sir - engg drawing There are some faculties which i dont like and that is because they behave too rude no matter how you approach them , that is not very good. For the first sem I have been here and given - 3 exams till the final sem exams i.e. 2 C.T (Class Tests) 30 marks each subject, passing marks is 10 and the difficulty changes from easy to difficult on how you have studied. In these 1-2 units test are taken. and 1 P.U.T ( Pre University Exam) of 70 marks each and Internal practicals of 30 marks each subject, passing marks is 23 difficulty same, although the whole paper comes from the notes by teachers. This test contains the whole syllabus. And then finally the End Sem exam of 70 marks each and 30 marks externals which totals 100, same 23 passing from 70 and Externals also take practicals for 30 marks.

Night Life

3

Only a single good cafeteria is best that is on the sides of bw boys and girls hostel which has reasonable food rates and taste decent. The same cafeteria also is the only good place for hangout with friends. Hostels i think till 6 pm not confirmed as not a hostel guy. The whole area consists of colleges nothing sort of famous area outside the colleges. I wouldn't advice on the safety as i have never been through the area in night other than the freshers where a bulk crowd of students were there so it was norml but i do not have an info of normal days and even if as an advice i would recomment not roaming alone. For bith boys and girls thats is

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
