By choosing nursing as a professional we can understand our whole body and can understand our individual body type and work in health promotion and disease prevention We get opportunity to educate people to take care of their health After completing the degree we will definitely get job in one or the other hospital in private sector and if we work hard we can even get government jobs as well

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

I really hate this government college of Nursing Chitradurga Here only internal politics are there The hospital hospital faculty and teaching faculty use students for their political survival to secure their position We don't have any facilities like class rooms, benches to sit, toilets, no place to wash our hands, no place to have lunch We are given only two wards to conduct classes which are in worst condition

Admission

In mock allotment I got government college of Nursing shivamogga In first round I got government college of nursing Karkala In option entry I opted choice 2 which means to hold the college got in first round and apply to participate in second round Again in second round I got government college of Nursing Karkala So first year I got admission in government college of nursing Karkala First year I completed successfully in Karkala But for second year I applied for transfer to government college of nursing Chitradurga which was near to Davangere because I was from Davangere itself

Faculty

1

In first year I was studying in Karkala and for second year I took transfer to Chitradurga Both are the government college of nursing Compared to Chitradurga, Karkala is slightly better in teaching In Chitradurga it is worst In Karkala only 4 lecturers were there In Chitradurga only 7 lecturers are there In Chitradurga lecturers are students friendly But in Karkala lecturers are very strict

Night Life

1

We don't have the minimum essential facilities in our college For everything they collect money from Students We are forced to work at the hospital Hospital staff use the students to complete their work The nurses at the hospital will sit in the cabin happily enjoying with the mobile But she will assign heavy work to the nursing students This is the harsh reality of our college

Students were eligible for campus placements through 3rd year final exams. Various hospitals like Columbia Asia, Manipal, Asian Hearts, Max Hopital offered placement to our Students with an average package of aroung 3 to 4 lakhs. Around 25 Students got placement on campus interviews in different hospitals. My plans are to persue for higher studies after my degree and I'm looking forward to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The circumstance that I choose this college is because of the fare for this college and that including the hostel facility too. The nursing job have more opportunity than any other courses here. The frequency and time are set by rajiv gandhi of health and science. They have to improve the college space because college is only small campus.
