Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was very well planner with extra curricular activities included in the everyday schedule and it helped me to maintain the work life balance in my daily life. It would have been better if some courses were included labs along with them like NLP, Matlab etc. There were exams in every 2-3 months in the name of mid exams, semester exams and it was good to have them as they guve motivation to work on the studies.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester ending the placement season starts and the placement cell works very well in iur college. They were able to bring big tech giants like TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, Qualcomm and few startups. The highest package was 44lpa and average was 7lpa and the profiles offered are SDE, Cloud engineer, Systems engineer. Mostly 95% of students got placed and my plan is to get placed in agood company with an average package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees - 101000 Caution fees - 5000 Regustration fees - 3000 Admission fees - 1000 Development fees - 6000 Lab fees - 15000 Other miscellaneous fees - 10000 All the branches had the same fee structure so there is no difference among us. And there were scholarships provided based on the financial status as well as merit if applicable. There is a seperate scholarship section which carryout all the related matters. Scholarships include Jnanabhumi, EPass, Sc/ST welfare scheme.
Campus Life
I was very reserved and had less friends but were close to my heart. The college life is going like a rocket with the days passing by very fast. There is a huge library with many books and magazines to get the best knowledge and there is also a digital library with latest technology and also we have TV based teaching sessions and ppt presentations. As I memtioned there is sports club and other clubs like dance, art and all clubs for extra curricular activities.
Admission
I applied VIT and Sastra along with this but preferres this over those as it was offering value for money for the things they mentioned. VIT was overly priced and Sastra was not suitable for me. To get into my college, one has to attempt the TSEAMCET and appear for counselling and select the colleges which we have confidence in getting the seat and we will be guve the seat according to our rank and the available seats in the college.
Faculty
The faculty to stunde ratio was average with 1:30 and there was an average relationship with faculty like the one who can interact well had good relation but the introvert couldn't reach out to them easily. I like PSR due to his jovial nature and his teaching capability and I dont like Srinivas rao as he was very reserved and didn't interact much with students. There were 8 semesters and each semester will have 5 exams on average in which aroung 10-15% percentage of students failed.
Night Life
Our college doesn't have a hostel in its premises and it is 0.5km away from the campus so there was no might life or hangouts. We were forced to clear the college premises by 6PM. The locality was like outskirts of the city and was not much safe for girls to roam alone on the roads.
