Course Curriculum Overview

The program provides core learning and allows us to select our electives in the second year based on our interests along with a focus on overall holistic development. The classes are held regularly and accordingly

Internships Opportunities

There are ample opportunities for the internship in the college and atipemd is also very apt justifying the skills and abilities of the students The summer internship ranges for 2-2.5 months There are also various opportunities for live projects throughout the year

Placement Experience

The placements of FMS has been always been very impressive and with ample opportunities. It has been carrying it's legacy of diserve and top mined cohort oc students. I plan to go into the marketing field

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees last year was 57350 and we have semesters in the whole two year full time mba. The fees has been increased by 1710 per semester from this year onwards. The total fee is 229800. Apart from this I have availed no scholarship.

Campus Life

The whole campus is student driven that makes the campus life very happening. We have many clubs which one can be a part and events helds and have perfect balance between academic and extra curricular activities

Admission

I applied for IIMs . The major reason was the opportunities that I would be getting from FMS and the return on investment that I would getting along with the location advantages and a diverse peer group

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio is pretty balanced. We have highly qualified professors with years of experience and specialized knowledge. The course curriculum is very relevant and upto date with growing world.

Interview Experience

There was Personal Interview along with an Extempore and SOp discussion. I prepared by covering the hygiene questions, graduation subjects, and current affairs . The interviews are conversational and interesting

Night Life

We don't have residential program but most of the students live nearby so it's fun to enjoy at different places and explore Delhi university. Weekends are for exploring Delhi and it's history and party

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Placement Experience:

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is mostly aligned towards Economics but you don't need to have prior experience in the field, you can start afresh and still excel. I picked this course specifically for the Analytics part of it.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I chose DU SOL over regular DU colleges because iI was preparing for goverment exams like SSC and needed a flexibility study schedule. the main reasion for chosing SOL was flexibility to study frome home while doing coaching and extremly low fee of arround 4000 per year compared to 15000+in regular college. another major factor is that the degree from SOL hasthe exact same value and crediblity as any regular DU college degree with no mention oif distance on the final marksheet...Read More

Overview of my College.

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted.
