Course Curriculum Overview

4

Fisrt of all it's a medical line so i chose to study this course. In this course practicals should more rather than theories andr teacher's must be well educated to teach because some teachers are come with very less knowledge in the classroom. Frequency of exams is 6 months and in between thay take many tests.

Internships Opportunities

2

There was not internship at all. In 3 years of course they took us in communities for community posting, hospital for clinical posting that's all.. They do not provide us any opportunity to take any offer from any good hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm a registered nurse from shuats college, and my fees for per semester is 28000/- My total semester of this course are 6. So, yearly fee structure is 56000/- It's a three year course . Grand total of fees is 1,68,000/- There was no scholarship.

Campus Life

3

There are many festivals and programs they schedule in the year.. like world health day, nurses day, doctors day, nutrition day etc. Library is quite and good.. there collection of book is also very nice. In the classroom there is a green board and a projecter where teacher come and teach. Sports day is conduct in main campus.. but we are not allow to join .

Admission

At that time when i took admission, this is the only big institute and college i know for paramedical course. And i didn't applied in any other college. No i didn't got any rejection from any college. Admission procedure was simple.. as take form and fill it. Then submit in the registrar office. After some time they conduct an entrance exam and they select students as they perform.

Faculty

3

The faculty members are extremely strict in nature. They shout like hell with no respect at all. 4:30 teacher and student ratio. There's not even a single name to share... They all were so damn strict. One teacher I really like her name is Leena pravil john. She also strict but understanding too and he teaches really good. Total 6 semester are there. 1 semester= 5-6 exams in each semester. Questions are relevant to course.. not come out of syllabus. And almost all the students pass except 1 or 2.

Night Life

4

This is a good question because the only thing we like the most is there's all uh need is available at the place uh r .. either it's stationary or restaurant, gym , cafeteria etc etc. Hostel girls can chill out in the place after class after 4pm in the evening Inside the campus there is a love line name area and canteen where students can chill ad hangout. Outside the campus there are many like: Higgins, blackout, wasabi, Devine etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

Job opportunities is so high after completion of the course. Curriculum strongly focuses on skill development of the students that will help them to achieve different milestones. There should be less no. of assignment in the curriculum and teaching method should be more interactive. There are 2 mid term exams and 1 semester exam in every 6 months. Exams are not that difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a medical course so yaa i wanted to learn about human so opted for it .It's alike MBBS but a bit easy than that .we have subject specialities like Medical surgical ,Obs gynae,Pediatrics ,Community etc like mbbs only but we need to learn them in duration of 3.5 yrs then we have internship of 6 months. Curriculum is maintained but need to be more realistic as some things are outdated. The subjects we learn are patient centred only as we have to be there for them ,provide care to them and treat them .everthing we read in classes we apply and co relate in our clinical.postings for better learning and experience

Choosing this course was my own decision but after joining it helped me to indulge more in it. It prepares us to face many major and minor critical conditions regarding human beings. Teaching method is usually based on faculty we get. But ours is the best and they examine us in every one month on the basis of some lengthy exams and some shorts exminations.
