Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is relevant and useful also prepares us for real world applications by making us do exhibitions and how to prepare and talk in exhibitions. They give us exposure to real world and make us attend all events and competitions related to our course to give us practical experience and exposure but it would be better if topics like digital art and sculpture were added .
Internships Opportunities
There are internship opportunities provided by my college for several courses particularly cinema, photography, animation and others . But for my course finearts there hasn't been any internship opportunities till now . But they have said to provide internships for fineart students starting this year..
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees for each semester is 48000 so yearly i pay 96000 and transportation fees is 17400 and exam fees is 1500 fo each semester. The fees for the complete 4 year course would be 380000 excluding transport and other fees.
Campus Life
There are several events held over the year like on festivals such as diwali, Christmas, independence day, teachers day etc .sometimes also related to the club's activities like an event was held in october by finearts club called inktober celebrating the meaning of ink. The infrastructure is getting more developed gradually . A sports meet of 3 days in held starting from this year. And there are 6-7 different clubs which are run by students themselves with a teacher as there supervisor.
Admission
I did not apply for other colleges as there is lack of availability of colleges that have fineart courses in the place where i live so I didn't have have any options. And my parents were not ready to send me to other state for college. The admission process is easy for my college . As it's a private college they take all admissions without any entrance exams .
Faculty
The faculties of my course i.e the fineart department are very knowledgeable and approachable and we have 3 faculties for around 40 students. They all pay attention to every student . There are 2 exams held wach semester, mid terms and end term. The exams are particularly easy and relevant to the course taught
Night Life
The college is built in a open and secluded area so there is nothing but open land around the campus and you have to walk around 15-20 minutes to get any daily necessities. Also there is only one cafeteria which is also quite small. There is a gym for the hostel students and a library in campus for everyone. But after 7-8 pm you can't go outside the college gates so the hostel students usually hangout in the ground area
