Sinhgad as the name suggests

The academic curriculum was pretty relevant and concise in terms of theory, but what i would suggest that college still needs to focus more on practical and hands on experience for students , Also , the computer lab is outdated , they need to install newer versions of pc and softwares to cope up with the changing industry standards

Last year an IT company offered internships to 10, students who qualified assessments, There are manay opportunities for every branch student if they work hard and qualify aptitudes of companies coming to campus

From 3 year we become eligible to placements Its the best college in terms of placement as its placement cell is associated with its pune office , we have received over 150+ companies on our online and offline portal. Student percentage is 50% students get placed I have received offer from amazon , it was off campus but i didnt apply on campus because i wanted to pursue higher education in usa.

I have paid 44,450 per semester for my course that would be 88,900 per year fees for my Btech in Computer Science It was due to i was eligible for Scholarship for 'Obc Scholarship for UG' by Maharashtra govt. Which covered my half fees. For SC and ST there was negligible fee structure as 4000 and 8000 per sem, and for management it was full fees , but if you belong and are eligible for EWS scholarships then it would get your half fees reimbursed.

There is this two large events take place , Umang and Sports week . that were the best days and it involves all aspects , we have different types of clubs for each cateory. Sports and extra curricular activities are supported in this institution if you have reasonable and proper channel , they reschedule your paper if you missed it due to sports or any other important event .

I applied to many colleges and as it was during the covid time , i was restricted by my family to take a college nearby my hometown, this was the best college available according to me if we consider the overall aspect, the other colleges were WIT solapur and Orchid but they lacked some of the facilities, In Wit there is no proper teaching and they dont pay attention to all students and in orchid they dont provide proper placement assistance support. Also i took this college as i was shortlisted in CET under govt quota for this

The one good thing here at Sinhgad was they provided TA , for every 15-20 students group , that monitored and assessed overall academic and personal stature of students to grant , help , authorize services such as leaves, exemption, gatepass and other permissions and also visits and meets the parents in house visits to report progress of students. S.Shakhapure and S.Hippargi sir were very resourceful and helpful in our hackathons and academic projects, they went out of their way everytime to help and provide us with guidance and equipments with whatever was necessary for the hackathons and projects. In a Semester there are 2 unit tests and one final exam , this are all theory papers .

There is a small gym , canteen and ground available, Theres nothing much at night as only you would get hostel students because everyone else travel back to their homes, Gate timings are strict for hostel students and requires warden permission to go and come beyond that timing.
