Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course of engineering is a bit challenging in itself but if you choose a college which will guide you it gets easier. So starting from the first semester we were guided very well through all the subjects. In the third year we started building projects as well which were just the beginner level And then in 4th year we made more projects basic and advanced level with the technologies we have learned in the course combined. All this steps have made us ready to go and get the job we wanted. A difficulty which most of us faced were the time for completion of assignments, practicals and journals and at the same time preparation of the viva and exams would get difficult for us. But everything else was great at its own position and efforts were made.

Internships Opportunities

5

In the course curriculum we are allowed to do any internships which we are willing to do and they also provide some similar opportunities like conducting workshops related to technologies and skills which students may need to learn and know about before. Internships are provided mainly after 3rd and 4th year.

Placement Experience

5

Basically students are supposed to apply in the final year so that they can complete and join the company. But they can apply since 3rd year, which is 5th semester and many companies visit our campus. Guidance is provided for both the students who wants placements and also for those who want to pursue anything else or do something else like higher studies or startups. Highest package till now is 13lpa and average package is 3lpa. 80-85% students are placed according to their choices and preferences. I have been placed as well and almost everyone has been placed in some companies from our batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall everything was great, about the fee structure average for one semester was 45000 And other fees including tution, exam and other was around 3-4 varied accordingly to the year which we were in Yes for categories there were different amounts for example general category had paid -80000 and some of them paid 3000 per semester, but i had applied scholarships named Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna(EBC). I received some amount with this.

Campus Life

5

There are annual functions like Umang which is held grand and it is of 2 days. The library us also available for the students willing to buy any books.Enthusia is the sports activity which is conducted as well in our college and prizes are given. There are certain clubs which helps students to find their interest and capabilities and do good further in their careers.

Admission

Applying to this college had many reasons behind including the reason which is this college was in my home town and other colleges I applied gave me seat for entc department which I didn't want to and this college gave me for cse Another reason is placements , our college has good placements record and all the facilities were available as well. Admission process is also very simple , the staff will assist in every process and step to guide.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 and they are guardian to each 15 students and they solve any problem faced by students. The subjects were very hard as it was a engineering college and we may have the fear of back log papers but the faculty teaching was very effective to pass the exam. There are 8 semesters total per semester 5-6 subjects and extra subjects like creative designing, human values, etc. It is very relevant as we get to learn every subject and will build the foundation for example coding languages , subjects related to data , web , security , and many .

Interview Experience

5

There were many topics including technical and non technical including social media use, use of any technology and more. Interview questions were basically dependent on the company requirements which field they wanted. According to their preferences they asked questions. We had been prepared through our college and also self study we did through internet source.

Night Life

5

There are 2 cafeterias ,a library.Along with this there is hostel facility for both girls and boys separately. In which timing is till 7pm. In the college the infrastructure is very amazing, the whole campus is full of trees and flowers like a garden and there are playground as well where people can sit or play and just relax during breaks as well.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
