About SPMR college

If you can afford go outside J&K you will find better colleges and universities. The SPMR college doesn't care about anything about the students.There is no alumni network.The college as part of cluster university extra co-circullar activities

The course curriculum has changed completely within in a year. The college now falls under cluster university before it ussd to come under Jammu university The no. of subject has reduced significantly when I was in BBA the no. of subjects per semester were 8 but now it is 5

Not to every student only to some students in BBA. None other department provide internship as all other aee academic courses ao ly BBA is professional course making compulsary internship. I did my internship from airtel payment bank

No the college doesnt provide placement opportunity to all students. Only 1 or 2 companies came to campus and they only for B.com hons and BBA rest are not placed by college themselves they have toll for job themselves

There are seminars , conferences and competition held in college every year but no fest. The college also allow you to participate in any event and says they will pay all the expense but in reality don't expect even a single penny from them

Fees is very minimal less than school fees of pvt schools being the fiverr school it doesn't charge huge. The fees is paid in three installment every year the highest fees if of BCA then B.com Hons then BBA and then then B.com B.com hon total for 3 years is around 40,000 BCa is 45,000 BBA is around 30,000 B.com is around 22,000

There is no scholarship or loan facility offered by college as I have told the fees structure is very less you will not be in need of any loan. The college doesn't provide any scholarship to any student but you yourself can apply for school ship

You can give your library card to sports dept and can get volleyball, carton ,table tennis , football anearly all the games you want The college as part of cluster university extra co-circullar activities are or gained nearly every week but you will not know about it until you regularly visit english dept. English dept. organises nearly event in college. It is a commerce college so no lab

Hostel charges is very minimal so you can't expect a lot of facilities or infrastructure hostel is attached with college and looks 100 year old building with very less facilities students applied for hostel facility is very less if you are looking for it you will get it very easily

There is no alumni network in the college you can't get to know about them it's impossible as the college doest maintain any linkedin or face book page where you can find your alums so don't expect any kind of help from your alums.

There are two exams internal and external internals are conducted by colleges themselves and external by Cluster. In internal there is Assignment for 5 marks and a 10 marks paper known as MST there is also 5 marks other content depending upon teacher choice in external there is paper of 60 marks

The college offers B.com., B.com hons, BBA and BCA B.com Hons have written before admission you have entrance test organised by cluster university to get admission into B.com hons there are 66 seats 60 merit and 6 paid seats for B.com hons , for admission in BBA , BCA nad B.com you don't have to give any test you are selected by your merit Both BBA and BCA have 66 seats 60 as merit and 6 as paid same as B.com hons. This year 1300 students get admission in B.com

On true note if can study yourself its good. The faculty doesn't care the students come in school or not you can give papers without attending any class. The faculty of BBA , BCA and B.com hons are good , in starting they care for the student 1in 1st year later they became same as B.Com faculty
