Remarks

The college is Shit, I would never recommend anyone to join such an institute or an institute which is equally bad, you would be better off if you choose to prepare and reappear for engineering entrance examination and get a good college after improving your score. Never ever join a mediocre college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The real course curriculum is archaic, with a lot of old books and teaching methodologies, some of the technologies that were taught were already heading towards a silent death. I loathed every minute of it, as I believe trying old tricks to to solve a novel problem doesn't work very well. The college is affiliated by RGPV, which is the state body which conducts engineering exams and provides degrees. The curriculum mandated by the university is itself outdated and needs some major changes in order to be more useful to young engineering minds. You are made to submit assignments and files that you can easily copy from any of your fellow students and get grades, such a system of learning leaves one devoid of any new knowledge in the end except being an expert in copying things.

Internships Opportunities

No Internship, No stipends. nothing at all. You have to do it all on your own, first of all you have to find a place to be an intern and then try to convince them to pay you a stipend. The college doesn't care if you manage to find one or not.

Placement Experience

0.5

the placements are pathetic with most students being hired for support roles at BPOs or various KPOs. the college tries to hide it's in-competencies behind phony records depicting a large number of students as placed, where in they are actually hired for stupid BPO or menial jobs. The college does however has a Training and placement cell, but which is of little or no use at all. They desperately try to call companies to hire students. However, a couple of good organizations do show up for placements too, but most of them just hire only a handful of students. I was selected for a SSB interviews by the Indian Navy, which happens to be one of the recruiters, but hires very few guys.

College Events

0.5

No such happening events took place except for the annual function, fresher's party and a handful of events. The fest was as boring as it could be, the games and events decided by the student committee were naive and simple as if the events were being held at a school. Only the annual function could be considered significant event throughout the year which gave some relief from the otherwise monotony and boredom of college. Even the competitions being held featured students of very low intellectual caliber and even the exciting events such as robotics and other creation games which required at least some intellectual ability were being participated by students of very low innovative bent, hence even the supposedly good times felt like misery.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible, back then when I completed my degree I paid approx 3.2 lakhs in total as fee to the institute, which seems like a feasible fee structure for an engineering degree. You can pay the fee in installments at the beginning of each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any such facility being offered by the college. A ffew of my classmates did apply for various wavers, scholarships and loans through different mediums, I am not sure how they were linked with the college administration.

Campus Life

3.5

There were no extracurricular activities as such, I had a better time when I was in School. I am a national athlete who has represented in over 12 speed skating nationals so far, the college didn't even give me any leverage or support when I wanted to go for competitions. Except a few labs most of the labs have outdated equipment and you aren't allowed to do much experimentation anyway.

Hostel Facilities

2

I never used the hostel facility as I lived in a rented apartment in the city. The hostel infrastructure and facilities seemed fine to me based on reviews of my batch-mates who used the same. The Canteen was again of average quality with few options to choose from, also the college is secluded from the city and is on a highway, so yu ahve no option but to eat whatever is being served at the mess.

Alumni/Alumna

Well, The seniors and alumni have been helpful. I am in touch with most of the good seniors I had (people who loathed the institution as much I did), some of them are doing really good in life and once in a while we do have conversation about trending technologies and job opportunities.

Exam Structure

The exam structure mandated by the RGPV university is followed, the curriculum is divided into 8 semesters through 4 years with odd semesters in effect from July to Dec and even semesters in effect from Jan to June. The examinations were conducted at the premises itself. Every semesters also had interval and external vivas, scores of which did contribute to the final grade at the end of each semester. The internals were conducted by the professors and external faculties visited for external vivas.

Faculty

2

Everything at the college is just Average, from studies to other facilities. Some of the faculties were really helpful, intelligent and innovative, while most old professors like to keep the things in the old school manner. Though, when I visited the college around a year ago,I saw some new faces and the institute seems to be inclined towards hiring more young faculties to change the scenario and drive innovation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as quite relevant and well-structured. Most subjects are updated according to current industry needs. The faculty also puts effort into explaining topics with practical examples instead of just theory which I genuinely appreciate for there hard work The curriculum covers both core concepts and modern technologies which actually helps in preparing for internships and further needs and i choose Artificial intelligence because it is latest and the future is in ai and everyone somewhere related to artificial intelligence and so i decided this course for my furture safe and good future
