Review of IIIT SRICITY

I am ECE student. Curriculum of iiit sri city is actually good when compared to any local colleges.Actually iiit Hyderabad is the mentor of our college. Our curriculum is inspired from iit's. I think there is no need of improvements guess. I observed many of local colleges, from that i can say my college curriculum is good. There are two exams in a sem. Mid sem and end sem. They are quite tough.

I don't know much about internship opportunities, because I still a first year student. Currently I am actively participating in various technical club events improving my skills for further . According to my seniors , there are some quite good internship opportunities in our college.

There are good placements in our college. Especially when it comes to ece, campus placements are almost 90 percent. From 6th semester students are become eligible for placements i guess . Percentage of students getting placements are nearly 70 percent overall. I am also aiming for campus placements.

Year wise fee is 410000,tuition fee is 165000, Hostel fee is 22000.all our batchmates have to pay same fee. There is no any specific category or like that . There are two scholarship program s applicable National and as well as state.they both pay tuition fee ,we should pay hostel and mess fee

There are two fests in our college for every year. They are utkristha and abhisarga. We actually do not consider utkristha as fest, because it is not conducted properly. Library facility good in our college .books facility is also good. Sports and extra curricular activities are average in our college. Yes, clubs and social groups impact's our life. Because they help us to learn new skills.

There will be three students for a room.one fan, one table, one chair, one cupboard and plugboard for each student. Mess food is bad. Food is tasteless and worst.all students of iiit sricity can register for hostel. Hostel fee is 22000.

I appeared jee mains in 2024. I got 97 percentile. Obc rank is 11450.i wanted to take Cse or Ece course . So i have very less options in counseling. For my rank and ece , the best choice is iiit sricity when compared to other iiit's.admission process of our college is josaa counseling. Exams accepted is jee mains.

There are 440 students in UG1. In that approximately 400 are boys and 40 are girls. There are there courses offered by our college i.e.,CSE, ECE, AI&DS.there are four sections. Cse -2, ece-1, ai&ds-1.faculty are actually good and very interactive. The one faculty that I like is Narendra Singh Yadav. He teaches Probability & Statistics subject. He is very intellectual and good. In semester there are two exams one is Mid sem and other is final sem. They are quite tough to write. In tough subjects almost 15 percent people fail.

Nightlife is good in our college. Gym is available for 24 hours in our college. Library closes at 12 AM in night. There are no any specific timings for hostel and campus. Places me and my friends hang out is recharge point(kinda canteen).
