The girls to boys ratio here is very less which is 1:9
The college is still under construction works
Not that good infrastructure compared to other IIITs

Course Curriculum Overview

My experience with the AIDS course has been exciting and really good. The curriculum is well-structured, covering AI, ML, and Data Science with hands-on projects. Some topics are challenging, but the learning is rewarding. Overall, it's a great course with strong career prospects.

Internships Opportunities

I currently don't have much idea on internship opportunities as I'm still in UG1 but as per the information from seniors there are no much internship opportunities as of now. But for some students based on cgpa they provide internships

Placement Experience

Campus placements are decent at IIIT Sricity as the average package of this campus is around 14.5 lpa and actually the previous year average package was around 20lpa which says the placements at IIIT SRICITY is decent

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of this college is not constant it gradually increases 10k every year but as of now the fee is :- Tuition fee -165000 Hostel fee -22000 Mess fee -20000 Compared to other colleges the fee here is bit higher but according to me I think it's worth it.The food they provide in mess is good in quality and also provide many special dishes

Campus Life

My college experience so far is good.Whereas coming to social aspects they usually run may campaigns like cleaning roads,garbage by which they educate us how to behave in a society.There are many clubs in which you can participate by which you can explore more.Infrastructure of this college is not upto the mark

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility of this college is really good as they provide water dispensers in our college and also they provide a bed,chair,table and a cupboard. They also provide washing machine which are usually not provided by many hostels but there is no hot water facility here

Admission

I entered this college by attempting JEE mains I have tried to join other colleges as well like NITs and other IIITs but my rank was not that high so among the colleges for which I'm eligible I found this college as a better option

Faculty

Here in this college the examination pattern is like a mid exam and an end sem exam for every semester,Every semester is for 4 months.The faculty here is well qualified and most of them are graduated from IITs,IIITs and NITs.

Night Life

There are many places to visit around like isro,waterfalls and many other restaurants. You can enjoy your college life here as there are no restrictions for us. You can have fun with your friends in hostel

The placement opportunities in the CSE department are quite good compared to other branches in the college students usually became eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards while major recruitment will on 6th semester onward several reprooted it and software companies visit the campus every year around 70-80% of eligible CSE students gets placed through campus drives

I think in the government University there was less opportunity for placements because the college dod not pay money for placements to approach them. But some placements was came and give the intership for the students as per the written exam for their company.I think starting 75 percent is required for the placements.

We are go to under the jntu university and the curriculum is very good that have course related and department related .the core subjects are going good till now they are very useful to the students for carrier and future also. I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply.
