My review about Deva Matha College

B. Com is a 3 years full-time graduate degree program. The course curriculum gives us a detailed knowledge of core commercial and computer subjects which include E-Commerce, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting, Computers. The course curriculum was designed in a way to provide computer knowledge by the end of the course along with commerce and management-related subjects.

Career guidance cell present in the college which organizes and coordinates with different companies and organizations for providing internships as well as job opportunities to the students. Both manufacturing and service industries visit our campus every year for the recruitment of eligible students. The cell is committed to providing proper and prompt career guidance and arranges campus selection interviews of corporates. It also conducts bank tests, coaching for students.

The events are mainly organized by the different clubs present in the college like Poster making competition and Drawing competition Arts club, Plays, and Dramas Drama Club, Quiz competitions by Quiz Club, apart from these there are yoga club, Dance Club, Music Club, Film club which organizes different events from time to time.

The college has a very low fee structure affordable by everyone as a total of around 2000 rupees charged by the college in the first year in which there are 1000 rupees is as tuition fees and rupees 360 as the caution fee and around 600 was charged as the special fee. The tuition fee will be the same for every year but the special fee changes every year in which will be around 800 rupees for the second and third year.

The college has so many scholarship programs that even it is not possible to mention here like there are around 46 scholarship, freeship, and award programs that are provided by the different foundation, people and foundation, associations, eg Rt. Rev. Dr. Sebastian Vayalil Episcopal Silver Jubilee Memorial Scholarship is awarded to all streams students by the college, Rajasekharan Nair Memorial Scholarship is provided by his family to the BCom 3rd year students scholarship by commerce association and many more.

The Alumni Association of the college aims at the inculcation of intimate fellowship and promotion of frequent interaction among the former students of the college. There is also an alumni association of passed out students who have become successful doctors now named Doctor Forum, One member Doctor of this alumni association visits to the college once in a week and provides medical checkup to the students.

For merit quota under General, SC, ST, OBC, OEC, etc., apply directly to Mahatma Gandhi University through CAP (Centralized Admission Procedure). I got the admission through the CAP round as I applied to the MGU website and filled the online application form and remitted the required fee with challan printout. Online registration and submission of applications will also be specified in the university site.
