Campus life at IIST

i would rate the course curruculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness 4.6 out of 5 - there are many aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course i.e placement -and practical learning opportunities - areas for improvement they can focus on student from first year for skills improvemnt

there are many companies like cisco ,infosys,wipro, newton school ,the news fetcher and many more they provide internship according to the our knowledge there are many roles such as cotent writer software development intern

the campus placements of my college is good and many company visits our college for placements -from 6th semester student are eligible for campus placements the avg package is about 4.80LPA the highest package offered is 28LPA the percentage is about 60-70% my plan is to secure a high paying job and gain industry experience

-the year wise fees =120000 for IT branch per year -tution fees=120000 caution fees 2500 (have to pay only once while taking the admission& is returnable) registartion fees=2500(is to be paid once ) development fees =there is no development ,lab fees all are included in the tution fees - the fees of my classmates vary between 60000 to 120000 -there are many scholarships given by govt of india such as obc scholarship for obc they provide the amount of 28700 and for the sc/st categories student the fees to be paid only 40-50 percent of tution fees - financial aid - institute also give much discount in fees according to the percentage in 12th board and score of jee decides the branch

there are many fest held in our institute that include dazzles ,hackathons , LIBRARY the institute also provide many variety of books in which novels regarding to academics the they ensures that we should get the latest research and information. there are many social groups such as codechef ,robotics clud and all here they help for boost the skills and thinking ability of students

- i applied to several engineering colleges that includes a) oriental university b)lnct institution c)sage university d)Indore institute of science and technology i chosed this college over others because there is much opportunities in grabing the placements the admission process the student must have cleared 12th with 50% in physics chemistry and mathematics also must have given the JEE examination

- the faculty to student ratio is 1:25 . the relations are fine with faculties and they hold the extra sessions , and they encourage not to give up,helping for making projects some of the faculties only focuses to the front benches - overall there are 8 semester in each semester there are 5 exams conducted including internal and external here are details in a semester there are 2 mid sem test which is of 20 marks internal and external marks =10 and overall the final or the main exam is of 70 marks/ the difficulties of exams are neither too tough nor to easy is of moderate level.. approx 90-93% of the student are able to clear exams without any backlog they offers a curriculum designed to align with current industry standards that includes the machine learning ,data science ,AI. curriculum is structure to provide us best skills which is demanded by industry

there is no late night culture in our college. is deciplined the last time at night is 10 pm after that no one is allowerd to roam around the college . all have to report to respective there hostels room
