What Students Say

Likes

The campus is very wide and one of the biggest in asia.
There are departments for every interest such as sports,artists,forensic,etc.
There are many restaurants in the campus as well as in the hostel itself.

Dislikes

There is no football coach and that is required for the development of skills.
The maximum hostel entry time should be more as for the girls,its only 8 pm
There should be more gap between different exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university is focused on both growth and development of the students. It never leaves the talent of a student wasted as it provides each and every course the student wants to opt. There is no bias or shame in any course in the university.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the university is very impressive as many of my senior friends have got the placement in the first try. I plan to start my business soon but i also will take the placement when my i get my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

My tuition fee for the year is 160000 and that is 80000 per semester and i got a scholarship worth rupees 20000 per semester as i scored 55 out of 100 in the cucet exam during the admission process.The University is very affordable

Campus Life

The campus is huge and consists of many things like restaurants, volleyball courts, football grounds, basketball courts,etc. You can roam around and never get bored of the campus.There are many libraries as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is literally amazing. You get to meet new friends every day and can have fun for the whole day and there are no restrictions for fun in the hostel. The mess food is better than i expected and i can really feel the flavour which is very well cooked.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I appiled in many colleges such as panjab university in Chandigarh and Sd college in Chandigarh as well but after seeing the crowd,maintainance and the opportunities Chandigarh University provides, I was clear that i want to be the part of this university. You have to give the cucet exam for admission on the basis of which you get the scholarship.

Faculty

The faculty of the academic departments are really focused on making the career of their students and they are more focused on making them understand instead of just marks which is a good thing. The program leader of bba which is atul sir is my favourite.

Night Life

The night life is beautiful as there are many lights and the campus never gets silent. There are alot of people around and good crowe as well. You will find people from all over india and from countries like South Africa, Australia ,Nepal, etc.

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

A good campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a subject called TPP in which the student is allowed to attend placement drives in their colleges. It includes verbal and aptitude. More than 500 companies visit my college and offer 6lacs to 10lacs per annum to the deserving candidates.

Lovely Professional University’s Truth!!

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
