Remarks

College was good more or less nad the college faculty was also good. I cannot tell any excellent remarks of this college but allover it was agood college with good people except the management people.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which i had opted for is a good course in the field of applied sciences. It had helped me grow my intrests more in this field of research and development field.I had thought of doing msc and phd after this.

Internships Opportunities

No they do not provide that and the recruitment from campus was also very bad as no companies came from specific stream. Companies from totally differebt stream had arrived and the students did not knew how to handle them either.

Placement Experience

1.5

Job and placements are worse and people got very nervous during the placemnts as there was no prior arrangement or training for the interview. Therefore the recruitment process was very disorganised and confusing and stressful.

College Events

3

There were many events organised like the avarjana which was a yearly festival organised by the college. It also let us participate in various other intercollege championships. Events like facepainting and sports had even won trophy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tution fee is good and it was 1 lakh 70 thousand for three years. Tution fee was cheap than any other college only the accomodation was very poor and the management was very greedy. The course fee was less than any othe college in bangalore university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provides any scholarship but it provide studwnts loan for tution and accomodation fees. Although the hostel is the worst hostel anyone could avail. No good scholarship was availed the management was very greedy

Campus Life

2.5

Lab was good having the necessary chemicals whereas college does not have a ground of its own. Extracurricular activities were almost indoor games dur to lack of ground. Inside the lab many instruments were there but due to lack of maintainance it was not working

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility is worse and no normal human can stay over there. I had to shift after statying just 4 months and they had taken the full year amount for that. As i said the management was very greedy

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were helpful even the students who had passed out they had also contacted us in social media. Our seniors and superseniors both were very helpful to us and had loved us like their brothers and sisters.

Exam Structure

Semester wise. As our college belonged to bangalore university and our course was based on cbcs system therefore in a year we has 2 semesters. Each semester has internals and practicals and assignments assinged.

Admission

I had called this college for my admission and they had informed me to appear with my marks card. They had verified my marks of 12th and 10th and on the basis of marks they had offered me this course.

Faculty

4

The faculty for the first two years was very helpful and experienced. Where as due to lack of salary they left the job one by one. The management of this college is very poor. They are disorganised and arrogant in changing there ways.

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
