Remarks

See, Truth is always bitter. I just want to conclude that I do not trust any online pictures. The college may look different in the pic coz if the ad they bring to attract people but please come and have look at the college before you take admission anywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

See it is fair in all the colleges. The exams are conducted strictly the internals are held twice before every semester including assignments and seminar in some cases. The seminar conducted by some teachers helps the students to be courageous and hence you have the guts to face the crowd.

Placement Experience

1

On talking with the seniors I always hear them saying no one gets a placement. Even me I haven't any companies coming to the college for the placement to date.

College Events

2.5

Events like Graduation day, Farewell, Onam and feast are celebrated but it is not enjoyable except on graduation since the college conducts the events separately and we get very few people to cheer. Since the no of students in the college is very low except in a few branches like B.com N BBA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in the college vary from Branch to Branch. Here, in my Bsc Branch, the Normal people generally pay 22000 per sem, so it takes 44000 per year, the Fees of NRI students are high like double the amount of us but the local domicile people they relatively get to pay a very low fee to the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't take any education loan nor I got any scholarship from the college but I saw a register in the college reception with the name written as "Scholarship" enquire the college about this maybe they give or the students get from the state govt.

Campus Life

2.5

As I have told the college has very few students I see my seniors with 5 girls 2 boys, 4 girls 2 boys n wee consist of almost 13 girls and 12 boys approx. Its all normal no college has the exact no of a male and a female ration. But the lecturers are 99.9% female including the principle and the HODs.

Hostel Facilities

2

The college actually does not have their own hostel they rent a Building from some other Owner and they will make you stay there saying "you live here for 1st sem and then change". But just know that once u pay the fees you are a trap. I bet you will never ever like the hostel facility. Nothing is their nothing. you won't get proper basic needs such as water, people rushes to fill their bottles from the filter since they provide only a single filter for the whole college. Don't think about proper food when u don't get proper drinking water. When I was in the college boarding I got to purchase drinking water for the last 4 months of 6 months.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are cold loving and we were juniors we too we respect them. So, there is a great bond between the seniors and the Juniors.

Admission

While I was searching for top BSc colleges in Bangalore. St George college came to the list I checked the full details and hereafter I called the given number the man responsible for admission told me everything about the college. He gave me full suggestion and I came to the college from the Bangalore airport with the help of Google map .thnkx to it!

Faculty

3

Some of the college faculty members are really good. But I saw a lecturer who judges a student. Being a lecturer she/he shouldn't judge any student everyone should be equal before his/her eye. Just know that everyone only the person who lacks the knowledge judges the people. But you know we can't judge the college just because of a single faculty member. After all most of the lecturers keep on changing every sem/year from my dept.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
