Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has been my dream and passion since childhood to pursue B.Tech and become a good software engineer. The curriculum prepares us well, but we need to practice consistently to improve and gain real-world skills. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months, and mid-semester tests happen twice in a semester, usually in the 2nd and 4th months. The difficulty level is not too tough or easy it's in the medium .
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. As the college started in 2020, its first batch passed out in 2024. I heard that nearly 30 companies visited the campus. The packages varied based on students' skills and knowledge. Some students got offers of 4 LPA, 5 LPA, 6 LPA, and the highest was 12 LPA. Around 50-60% of students were placed, but the exact figure might vary. I plan to look for a placement after completing my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Total fees for my course is 50000 Rs per year that is paid in two installments(25000 Rs) at the starting of both semester of the year at the time of registration of semester. Plus 5000 Rs at the time of admission on time payment. The 50000 Rs is same for all categories The Scholarships are provided by the MP government for all SC/ST and OBC and Central government through NSP for the students who came from defence background and for other also.
Campus Life
Multiple festivals and events are organized almost every 3-4 months, including Garba events during Navratri, tech fests, dance shows, games, music shows by celebrity singers, and DJ nights. The library is very large and offers a vast collection of books and journals, making it highly resourceful for students. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for educational purposes. Although air conditioning units are installed, they are mostly non-functional, except for some in computer labs. The campus provides excellent sports facilities, including a large outdoor ground, an indoor games area, and a swimming pool. There are several student-run clubs such as coding, dance, and singing clubs, which actively contribute to student engagement and enhance campus life.
Admission
I applied to other colleges in Bhopal like LNCT and TIT and got selected for the same B.Tech CSE stream due to my JEE scores. However, I chose this college because it is a private university with much more affordable fees. I did not get rejected by any college I applied to. The admission process happens in two ways, Direct admission and through the college's entrance exam, which also provides scholarships to reduce the fees.
Faculty
All students are assigned a personal mentor to solve their problems, be it academic, attendance, leave, etc. About the exam, there are mainly two types of exams are Mid Sem Tests(Two Times in a semester) and End Semester Exams (Once in a semester at the of it) I am not giving any special advice or information because I think all teachers are good enough about there respective subjects. All the teachers are best in there working.
Night Life
Gym: Available in the hostels for students. Cafeterias: There are two canteens—one for students and one for staff/visitors. The closing timings are not specific but follow usual college hours. Library: Likely open during college hours, providing access to resources for students. Public areas: The campus is spacious and open for students to roam freely even at night. I didn't opt for the hostel, but the hostel timings are probably similar to those of other colleges, ensuring students' safety. The campus is big and allows movement even at night. Inside the campus: Students usually hang out at the cafeterias, library, and sports areas.
