Some info about Dalmia College Rajgangpur

The course curriculum was designed in order to provide a deep understanding of advanced chemistry and chemical industries. The course structure was in line with the Sambalpur University standards. The university exams were conducted annually, wherein students have to pass all the subjects to be eligible for securing a degree. Apart from that, the college also conduct biannual exams for internal assessment of the students.

Dalmia College Rajgangpur has a dedicated career guidance and placement cell and it organizes placement drives every year for the last year students in which many BPOs, financial and banking organizations come to take the interview to provide placement opportunities to the college students and students get selected in those companies.

Events are celebrated from time to time by the different teams and associations present in the college. Our college has a sperate NSS wing for the boys and girls which organizes activities like camp cleaning, the plantation in the campus, watering of plants, NCC events, Events by Youth Red Cross Wing. Many seminars and conferences are held by different departments on the topics related to those departments.

Dalmia college has the consuetude of providing a secure environment for learning backed by the some best facilities. The college is located in such a place which is well connected by a highway from all the nearby areas. The college itself has also grown in different aspects. It has now better infrastructure, a gymnasium, a sports complex, two ladies hostels, one boy's hostel, housing for the staff, education in computer science, computerization of the office and library, etc.

College alumni association organizes Alumni meets from time to time for the pass out students in which the students of older batches come and share their experiences of life and work with the students as well as with the faculties so that both can be benefitted with those experiences. Alumni also helps college through alumni funds.

The admission process starts in the 3rd week of June as the college opens at the same time every year. Application Forms with Prospectus for the course can be obtained from the College Office on payment of Rs. 30/-, immediately as soon as the Higher Secondary Results published. Anyone can apply by visiting the college and filling the admission form.

Faculties of the college know how to explain things to students so that students can get most of the things which are taught during the classes. They use techniques like Group Discussion, Seminar, Doubt Clearing Classes, VST, Extra Mural Talk, Student feedback on teacher for the teaching.
