Course Curriculum Overview

3

Specific aspects that influenced my decision that when I close my course at Lalit Narayan Mithila university, one of the key factors that influence my decision was the breath and depth of curriculum, the university offers a comprehensive selection of subjects within each department, Real world application and for the academic pursuits, the curriculum and most departments doesn't in corporate enough practical or industry relevant content to help a student immediately transition into the work force Suggested areas for improvement:- incorporating practical skills and real world applications, industry relevant content, updated resources and teaching methods, international exposure and research opportunities, and offering course like technology and social science, data science and economics, Exams: frequency, timing and difficulty- exams are held twice a year, following a semester best system. Giving students enough time to prepare, but the timing of exam can sometimes be problematic, for example, certain exams may coincide with internal assessments, especially in larger semesters where multiple subjects are being tough at once in terms of difficulty

Campus life at LNMU revolves around a close community, where is students from different parts of Bihar and nearby reasons come together, the social interactions are primarily focused around cultural events, festivals Festival and cultural events are very vibrant celebration, there are two main festivals like, vividha, techno fest, Library and resources: the library at university is a valuable resource for students, offering a wide range of books, Classroom and technology provisions at LNMU is a mix of traditional and modern, while some older lecture halls need renovation, the newer buildings have decent facilities like projectors, smart boards, Sports play a significant role in campus life at University, the sports ground is spacious, and students participate in sports like cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball regularly. There are also much more facilities like, cultural clubs. For music, dance At University has several students run clubs that play an important role in campus life. Some of the prominent clubs include: literary society, debate club, cultural society

Admission

When I was applying for colleges, my primary criteria were a balance of academic reputation, course offerings, and overall environment system, Other colleges I applied to including. Patna University, Magadh University, Bodhgaya, Why I choose Lalit Narayan Mithila university, There is a reason behind:- course structure and faculty, location and affordability, college environment and reputation, Comparison with other colleges:- Magadh University - it has a significent number of colleges affiliated with it, I felt the academic environment was more traditional and lacked modern facilities and updated in the curriculum Admission process at Lalit Narayan Mithila university:- eligibility criteria, entrance exam and exam accepted, l n m u generally eccept admission based on marks obtained in the 10 + 2 examination

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio and faculty student relationship:- the faculty to student ratio is depending on the department, in some of the larger department like arts and science, the ratio tends to be quite high, the relationship between students and faculty is generally respectful, Faculty I liked:- professor Arvind Kumar (department of history) : known for his deep knowledge and passion for history, he has a great way of explaining complex concepts with clarity, Dr Suman Rani (department of economics): she is a fantastic teacher with a real world approach to economics, Faculty I didn't like:- Dr Ajit Kumar (department of mathematics): some students found has classes are challenging due to has unclair explanations while he is certainly knowledgeable Dr Rajiv Kumar (department of political science): his teaching style was not very engaging and has lecture were often dry and he had a very traditional lecture heavy approach without much student interaction -the course curriculum at Lalit Narayan Mithila university comprehensive and offers a solid foundation in most subject however, the exam system is typically including both semester exam and internal assessments, semester exams are held twice a year, and the difficulty level of exam can be challenging for those who haven't followed the course material consistently

Night Life

3

The Univercity is situated in Darbhanga, which is a relatively peaceful town in Bihar, overall night life around the campus isn't as burstling or flashy as a larger cities Campus and hostel timings:- nice life around campus is like, gym timing: gym is open during the day but closes around 8:00 p.m. this is ideal for students who like to wind down with some fitness activities after their classes, Cafeteria: the main cafeteria usually closes by 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. Library: the library has extended there hours during exam season and stays open until 10:00 p.m. Hostels: generally have a curfew time of 10:00 p.m. for both boys and girls, this insures that the campus remains peaceful and students can rest after a long day of lectures, LNMU does not have the kind of intense nightlife that some urban universities might offers, there are still penalty of hangout sports, Outside college: food stalls, main bazaars and local markets, chai tapri, which is still open until around 9:00 p.m.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

Remarks:

The most important criteria or the factor which influences me to get admission in this college is their fee structure. As compare to other colleges ISM has affordable fee structure and they also provide the drcc loan if you are not able to pay by own.ISM gives the quality of education and after getting admission in this college I am totally agree with it. They not only focus the academics but they also focus on the co curricular so that the students must have knowledge about all the things and they can do their best in the field in which they are interested. The management of college is awesome and I just want to tell you if you really want to learn something go for it.
