Likes

nature was very good and large college and have parking area for students it was goood
there was good teachers friendly with knowledge some teachers were so intelligent but many weren't
there were many shops of food and have all varities of foods

Dislikes

the head of college and receptionist were not goood in behaving
the computer labs were not good very bad
there were very naughty peoples and most imp drugs used there

Course Curriculum Overview

i'll rate good if we go fro computer science so take it if you can and work hard . learn new technologies to get placed and for future career ...learn about new cultures and try faces challenges and help others

i don't know much about internship as i did'nt apply but some opportunities came like amazon , tcs and others too they used to give stipened around 20-25k on avg per month to studnets . mostly students used to focus on job

Placement Experience

placement offered but of sales even i was in computer science coourse i must get about software engineer job but they didn't provide . but sometimes computer science placements also but there were many students they give admission to many students

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees per semester was 80000/- and 2000 examination fees , my all batchmates had same fees as mine , tution fees was around 56000/- there is scholarship test in which we can get 35% scholarship from tution fees and it is available for only one sem if student need to maintain this he/she must got 75% in exams

Campus Life

my overall experience was like there were all type of people's with intelligency , sports , and naughty even rimch and pooor all kind of students . some teachers were good while some wasn't but students have to focus on their skills by themselves college won't help there are many club activited like robotics , drone

Admission

someone refer me this collg and my brother refer too as he was in same college but everything is changing there and faculty becoming worse so try to study by yourself on your behalf there don't care about studnets

Faculty

it is highly qualified university with good packages , name of faculty was anu mam and vice chancellor there behaviour was very rude to students ..there were different exams in every semester it was average we can say ..it was easy

Night Life

many students used to spend their nightlife in club or outside by having tea with their's gf and bf . but the stuff was quite expensive . students can walk in night and fun around i used to do so activity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
