My Experience at MANIT, Bhopal

As an JEE aspirant most of the people would like to choose Computer Science because of the rapid boom and more opportunities in this field, So I am tech enthusiastic kind of a person so chose CSE in MANIT Bhopal, Yes Course Curriculam is not that bad, you will learn so many things that will help in your professional journey. Exams are moderate and Freq. is 3 exams per semester.

Hey I was offered an SDE internship at Verisk Analytics with a stipend of 40K and for full-time it is 15.5LPA. Do multiple projects like in MERN, ML, MEAN explore new tech. and improve your problem solving skills.

From the 7th semester onwards Oncampus Placements take place, and also in 5th sem you will be eligible for Internships also. Companies like Googe, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Adani, Infosys, Verisk, Nutanix, Bajaj, BPCL, HPCL, MaQ Software, Oracle, Leap Finance, Verizon etc. came 70% of the CSE batch placed at the end of the January. If you want to eligible for placements your CGPA should be at least 6.5. Actually I got an Internship at Verisk so my plan is continue with the corporate journey.

There are many scholarship schemes provided by college as well as state government if you are obc whose income is less than 1lac then you will get 100% scholarship in institute fee if income is 1to 5lac then you will get 67% scholarship. A "MMVY" scholarship also provided by mp government for mp students.

There are so many annual fests are there, you will get a vast library with good range of books, Classrooms are not that modern but yehh every classroom has a projector. Sports wise MANIT has It's sports complex. There are many social groups like Ecell, vision,itse these all are technical clubs they provide opportunities to build your business, skill your coding, managment skills, sponsership and public relations. Many sports clubs are also there.

For double occupency they prodice 2 Almiras, 2 tables, 2 Chairs, 2 Beds and all rooms has balcony(at least for new hostels). Mess food is depends upon, the students who runs the mess, there is mess commety in every hostel. Regitration process for hostels is healthy. No I opted for hostel.

Admission process should be faster than present conditions. Admission section in this college is very slow being a nit it should be transparent, accurate and good. If you are obc student whose income is less than 1lac then college provides you full fee refund.

Faculty student ratio is not bad, they are hiring new faculties. Faculties are approachable here. I like Nilay Khare the most his knowledge is exceptional. There is 3 exams per semester, Mini tests, Mid Exams and End term exams. Exams are relatively moderate.

Yup you will get facilities like gym, library and public area. There are 12 Hostels in Manit, For girls timing would be different but for boys there is nothing the thing like closing time of hostels. Firstly I would suggest Porch, NTB and Parking Places are my personal favorite
