My experience in the college after First Semester

This year new syllabus has been introduced and it's pretty much relevant. Our syllabus covers wise range of topics , ranging from core to non core , communication skills , labs experiments etc. Exams happens twice in 6 months , first one is midsem and then endsem

As I am in my first year , i don't know the names of companies providing intership but I've heard from seniors that few companies provide intership opportunities, mostly in the non core branches... And also students apply for internship on their own most of the times

Placements is something we all are concerned. Companies do visit here but they pay very minimum i.e 4-5 LPA that too only non core branches. Highest package is around 12 LPA Companies like , Vodafone Idea , Hiremi , Mantra SoftTech , Qspiders , TCS and some other reputed companies visit for placements I don't have exact data on percentage of students getting placed at the moment I am planning to either pursue masters or appy for off campus placements

At the time of admission , a total of Rs 4181 ( four thousand one hundred eighty one ) was paid which included development fees , tuition fees and other things. ( This is for GEN / BC / EBC ) For SC / ST / Handicapped - it was RS 4041 /- As of this year , examination fees per semester is Rs 3700 for GEN / EBC / BC && Rs 700 for SC/ST Hostel fee is Rs 1200 per month and Mess fee is 125 Rs per day. At the time of joining hostel , you have to pay hostel fees of one year ( Rs 14400 ) and mess fee for 200 days ( Rs 25000 ) Thats it !

Fests like Umang , Technoriti are held annually Umang is organised in the month of Jan Wise variety of books are available in Library , we have been given three library cards . We can issue two books at most at a time and we have to re-issue it after 15 days Classroom are well equipped with boards, projector, AC etc... Clubs like Campus Tv & Radio , Hurdang , E-Sports club , Debuggerz , Robotics club are functional It's fun to be a part of them , we get to interact with our senior and other batchmates

Hostel is the best thing about this college. New and well maintained infrastructure. Well equipped with wifi . Daily cleaning is done by staffs . Each room is triple sharing. We have been provided with a bed , a godrej almirah , a study table and a chair , a fan and a tubelight For mess , monthly charge is 3750 Rs. Quality of mess is actually good from what I've experienced from my last mess

Talking about all engineering colleges under Bihar Engineering University ( BEU ) , Bce Bhagalpur is at the top. This college has a rich history, many alumni of this clg are working at a higher level position in govt sector and also pvt sector. Also the peer group here is somewhat better than other colleges Admission process was hassle-free. It took me nearly 5-6 hours for the whole process

Faculties are well qualified. Every course has 3 different professors . Mid sem is held in campus only and End sem is held by university. Exams are easy to moderate Very few students get back in their paper Course curriculum has been updated this year

Our college has a gym , but the equipmenta are old not much usable It has 2 cafeterias within the campus Timing is only restricted for girls , they aren't allowed to go outside after 6 pm In night time , we play table tennis , carrom , chess in the common room hall . Famous hangout places are Bank of ganga river , sandy's park , mandar hills etc
