Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is designed in a very good way , that you can cover all the aspects of computer applications and get placed in a good company. this course covers all the important topics which are required for job and placement. Teaching methods are good, but it will give us more exposure if we start focusing on practical more. semester wise exam occur and difficulty level in moderate.
Internships Opportunities
GL Bajaj offers internships with companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra. students get roles like Software Developer, Data Analyst, Marketing Intern. The payment is usually ?5,000. In my internship at Infosys, I worked on improving a website's user experience. These internships help students learn new skills and build career connections.
Placement Experience
BCA students at GL Bajaj, campus placement begin in the 5th semester. Companies like TCS,Infosys, and Wipro rectently visit our college. The highest package last year was ?12 LPA, with the average package of around ?4 LPA. about 85% students get placed. After my degree, I plan to either start working in the IT sector or do further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee of BCA program at GL Bajaj is ?1,35,000. This includes ?1,15,000 for tuition, ?10,000 for development, ?5,000 for lab charges, and ?5,000 for other things like exams and library. for the 3 year course, the total fee is ?4,05,000. Fess may increase by 5-10% for new batches. Management quota students pay more, around ?1,50,000 to ?1,70,000 per year. SC/ST students can get discounts based on government rules. Scholarships are available, like merit-based ones (?15,000-?30,000), need-based help (?10,000-?25,000), and government schemes for SC/ST/OBC (up to ?50,000 or full fee). There are also special grants for defense personnel's children or single-girl students.
Campus Life
Campus life at GL Bajaj is fun and full of activities. I'm part of the tech club and the cultural club, which organize events and workshops. the main festivals are Anveshan (technical fest) in feburary and utsav (cultural fest) in october. the library has many books and the classroms are very good with the projectors and computer. there are sports like cricket, football, basketball. we also have the student-run groups and portals that help students connect and organize event.
Admission
I applied to SRM and Amity but chose GL Bajaj because it offered lower fees, better placement opportunities, and practical teaching methods. I couldn't get into SRM due to high cutoffs.GL Bajaj addmission process is straight forward, based on JEE or UPSEE scores, and the overall experience was good.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:17, giving good attention. Most faculty are helpful, with some being great mentors. exam are moderately tough, and about 5-10% of students fail each year.mostly due to low prepration.
Night Life
The nightlife around GL Bajaj is peaceful. The gym Open till 8 PM, and the cafeteria is open until 10 PM. The library closes by 8 PM, and campus areas are quiet after that. Students hang out at the cafeteria, open areas, and nearby malls. The area is safe at night.
