What Students Say

Likes

The aspects that I really like about this collage is that the facility is really cooperative
There is a variety of students from all across the world
The campus has a great canteen and friendly environment

Dislikes

The faculty really pushes towards 75 percent attendance and it's difficult to be in this environment and focus on anything but the attendence
The curriculum doesn't allow us to modify our schedule according to our needs
The collage life experience that I expected isn't upto mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is some benifits to the courses we have studied till now like mechanical which enhances our physical engineering abilities but the theoretical extra courses are of now use as such like the philosophy of engineering tough me nothing as such that could be used ever in my life and same for biology.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 221000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is average there aren't many events and fests in this collage are minimal and average. There is a scholarship program which reduces the fees to around 20000 but the test is way to competitive amongst the few that actually selects this collage

Campus Life

Getting into the clubs are really competitive but I have to say the social life is genuinely good. Overall campus life is fun considering that the campus isn't that big. The infrastructure still is great in this limited space.

Admission

So I applied to almost every reputed collage and the competition was really bad. But I got into a few in entrence exam but I have to say the srm brand value is really good and I came to this collage hoping this would be the same but it wasn't that good in my personal experience

Faculty

The exam system is really not upto mark because we have two exams per day and hectic schedule that is impossible to complete in a day without any holiday. The coutce doesn't have variety of subjects to choose from.

Night Life

The night life is really a roller coaster we aren't allowed to leave our block after 10 pm and 9pm for girls but we can order food till 2 am from the in campus restaurant. It's restricted but we still manage to have a lot of fun in the block itself and everyone is really friendly and nice

Honest review of KCC college

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad.mass recruiters like infosys and TCS come to the college . They offer a very low packages like 3 LPA .They also show very high packages for some students which are fake .You cannot expect a good package here .

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . Their are many companies visted in our college some of them are Flipkart,Amazone,Infosys,icici and many otber companies . The highest package goes above the 20lacks lpa and average package goes around 5.5lacks lpa 75 percentage of are getting placed last year . My plan after getting the degree to placed in any multinational company as a developer.

Consider if you are preparing for any exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.

I applied for KIET, ABESIT, JIIT I was getting confirmed admission in all the colleges i wanted to get admission JIIT but i was not getting CSE CORE there which was my priority so didn't make there as the cut off was really high there . Other colleges I applied are MM college CCS University, KN Miet and IP University. I choose this college over the others because I don't want to go far from my city and this is the only college that fulfilling my requirement.
