Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed by AKTU. It's not bad because similar course structure is followed by IITS also but honestly I didn't like the first year subjects. This is because it has almost negligible CS subject that's only one in first semester. I don't know why they are teaching environment and ecology, it's fact that even after teaching most of the students do not care about environment not only in this college but all over the India. Other subjects like chemistry and economics and graphic design (on paper) are just for basic knowledge. But this will make you away from "intership" just after first year.
Internships Opportunities
There is very minimal in campus internship opportunity. As I mentioned earlier if you want internship just after your first year, it is not possible if you only rely on college. But you definitely get internship opportunity if work on your skills from the day 1.
Placement Experience
Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fee for one year is rupees 55,000 excluding security money and examination fees. 5000 rupees is security money and 7,500 rupee is examination fees. The scholarship opportunities are available for all the students. Being a UP government college you can easily get scholarship upto 55,000 rupees for OBC category students and it goes about 80,000 rupees for SC/ST students. If you are hosteler then you can 10 - 15 thousand rupees extra.
Campus Life
The overall experience of campus and infrastructure is average. The infrastructure is like old primary schools. The buildings are designed so simple that you'll never say to go to college. No beauty added to it. Classroom are not cleaned. But the good thing is you have charging socket at your desk. The garden is not properly maintained. There's no proper playground to play. Even there is not extracurricular activities for now.
Admission
There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. On the Given date visit college along with complete documents and admission fees.
Faculty
I don't have much idea about the students to teacher ratio for all branches but in CS there are 2 to 3 teachers for each subject. The course structure similar to IITs. There are some subject that are not needed for CS students but they are taught for basic knowledge. There 3 exams conducted in each semester. One 'sessional 1' exam (mid term exam) and then 'sessional 2' and then at last end term exam. The exams are not so easy but at the same time not so tough. If you give required time to your studies you'll be easily able to clear exams. But you need a good writing and writing manners because marks are deducted for it.
Night Life
Being a day scholar I cannot give good idea about about its hostel life and night life. But I can say that there's no cafeteria inside the campus. There's a canteen but it's worst of all. There's no gym in college campus. The library is there and open till 5 PM from 2PM. The location is not so safe to go around in night because it being in outer area there are some minor animals in nearby forest. But you can go ahead out to places like sangam (ganga and yamuna river shore) at night.
