Course Curriculum Overview

I choose artificial intelligence as my course because it is booming in the current market. But they are changing faculty frequently so kindly avoid these. To maintain good bonding with students so that they can be freely with faculty

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Student will be eligible for campus placement from 3 year itself. But as I'm a cse student i expect tech companies in placements but we got most of all jobs regarding sales or business associate like jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

Mt entire fee structure for 4 years is 6.5 lakhs, including hostel. Where it charge 70000 a year. I didn't get any scholarships. Most of my friends also are of same package as i do. Admission fee is 10000

Campus Life

Fests are conducted good kn this college, by bringing popular celebrities. Library is average because i can't get every book in that regarding my course. Grounds are small. Students run clubs like toastmasters, robotics, etc

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are average, menu quality is bad as they repeat same menu most of the time, at this price it is affordable but as I'm from Telangana i expect some other food varieties. You can register the hostel from hostel warden

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I didn't applied for other colleges. As my friend is coming i also joined along with him. At my time there are no entrance exam for this college but now i think those are there now. The overall admission process is average

Faculty

There will be 1 faculty for every 15-20 students. Relationship between faculty and student is not that bad but okay. We will be having 2 mid terms exams , they also have internals i.e lab exams and sem exams at last

Interview Experience

Yes ive faced group discussion recently in placement drive for an insurance company. And i Also gave personal interviews for 3-4 companies in placement drive. I've prepared myself for that placement drive

Night Life

Gym in our hostel is the worst gym i ever went. Timing for hostel are till night 9 after that we should not go out. If we want to go, we should take outpass for that. Rachabanda is the place where i and our friends sit ever time

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

applied to a few colleges in and around Jaipur: e.g. JECRC University, Manipal University Jaipur, and a couple of government/private colleges under RTU. I got confirmed admission offers from JECRC and one of the private colleges, but VGU stood out because: VGU offered the course I really wanted (e.g. AI & Data Science) with a better curriculum combining industry?aligned specializations (hackathons, startup culture etc.). Some other colleges didn’t offer my desired specialization. From reviews, VGU had better exposure and labs/facilities for new tech.
