All about Indian institute of information technology sricity

I was fond of electronics so I chose ece here in Indian institute of information technology sricity because the electronics and communication engineer faculty here is top notch compared to other colleges and the labs here have enough material for students to practice and the lab staff are also well experienced and u will get a lot to learn from them

The college offers u internships and also summer internships starting from first year students also many companies such as Google microsoft amazon caterpillar bosch nvidia wipro accenture bosch and many other companies hire interns from this college with decent stipend

The placements here are pretty good the average package this year was around 21 lpa for computer science and engineering and 19 lpa for electronics and communication engineering and the median package was around 16 lakhs per annum the companies which visited this college were google microsoft amazon caterpillar Accenture oracle wipro and tcs and many more and they also hired students with decent packages and the placement percentage was around 87 percent

The fee structure of this college is currently 320000 per year which increases by 10000 every year till my graduation and the hostel fee is 20000 and mess fee is 22000 per semester which are fixed and there there is no concession for sc/st students u can also apply for the scholarship offered by state government or central government.

We mainly have two fests in our college they are utkrishta our tech fest and abhisarga our main cultural fest the abhisarga the library of this college is not that good u will not be able to find wide range variety of books but there are decent books available in the library. The classrooms here are modern era classrooms which are fully air-conditioned and internet speed is also decent in the classrooms . The sports facilities are not at all good in this college. There are many clubs in the college which u can join and learn new things

The rooms are very neat clean they clean the rooms everyday and they also clean the bathrooms as the hostels are newly bulit the hostels are pretty good the food here is not that good u need to adjust and u can also order food online anytime the hostels here are very affordable and bring in hostel is mandatory

I applied for many colleges is jossa and csab counselling but due to my rank i got this college if u compare this college with other IIITs this is the fastest growing IIIT and this college is also better than tier three NITs the admission process of this college is u need to get a good score in mains and then u need to apply for jossa or csab.

The faculty to students ratio is good u will get enough faculty to get clear of your doubts and the faculty students relationship is also good they are very friendly and explain u anthing u ask they are all highly educated and are doing research in their subjects we usually have mid and end semester the papers are pretty tough. 40 - 50 students get failed in a semester and the curriculum here is designed based on the curriculum of Indian institute of technology hyderabad and Indian institute of information technology hyderabad

There is no nightlife in and around this college u have to go chennai which is 55 km from the college to enjoy and roam around malls and shopping streets u can also visit various beaches in chennai the hostel does not have timings u can roam is the campus anytime but u will not be allowed into the campus after 10 pm without a valid reason the famous places around are tada waterfalls pulikat lake which u can visit
