Remarks

College timings are to be changed. It's better to keep the college session active from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. instead of 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. College has to encourage more skills like music, art, and dance. Campus bandwidth is inadequate. Ultimately, The PVPSIT is the best at providing knowledge and education whereas good at providing scope for entertainment and fun.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum provides a rich ambiance for academic and professional excellence, innovation, research, employability skills, entrepreneurship, ethical and social responsibility. It enables us to understand the impact of engineering solutions on society and be aware of contemporary issues.

Internships Opportunities

Our college established relationships with government companies and organizations to help students get meaningful summer internships. We have a strong alumni network to help students get summer work in their fields of study. Internships and research opportunities are not limited to engineering and the sciences. Our college also supports students to assist professors with their research and provides funds to support independent undergraduate research.

Placement Experience

5

Our college brings job fairs to campus. We have a program for helping students find meaningful summer work. Our college help students write and develop their resumes. Training and Placement department of our college conducts mock interviews to help students prepare for the real interviews. Our college has an involved alumni base to help students get leads on jobs. Our college has resources to help students prepare for graduate entrance exams such as the GATE and GRE.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is better to say that the college fee structure is EXPENSIVE for B.Tech and M.Tech courses whereas it is FEASIBLE for MBA course. For B.Tech and M.Tech there are scholarship facilities provided by both the government and Siddhartha organization. One can accomplish one's B.Tech course paying only a few thousand rupees if he clears EAMCET with a very good rank. So, the fee structure is feasible for merit and expensive for non-merit students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides financial assistance to merit but poor students by providing scholarships in collaboration with Jnanabhumi. Jnanabhumi is a government program that provides the integrated & seamless delivery of services relating to Education and Scholarships for both the students & the educational institutions to attain synergies. Another scholarship program is also implemented by the 'Siddhartha Academy' for merit students.

Campus Life

4.5

Physical education and Education are two sides of the same coin. Physical education is an integral part of total education. This is what Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology believes in. The department of physical education and sports sciences is playing a key role in promoting fitness and recreational activities by proceeding ample opportunities through different programmes and infrastructure facilities. Our gymnasium provides informal recreation opportunities to men and women students separately. The outdoor games such as volleyball, basketball, football, ball badminton, throw ball, badminton, and athletics in the college campus. Students are provided with Indoor facilities Table Tennis, Chess, Caroms, Gym for men and women separately in an indoor gym and recreational center. Our intramural sports program offers opportunities to actively participate in games and sports activities providing as an arena in which participants can compete against one and other in a safe friendly environment. Students talented in any game are given a number of opportunities to compete in intercollegiate, inter-university or any other tournament. It is very proud to inform that Mr.B.Chetan Anand, Arjuna Awardee in badminton, is from PVPSIT.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility provided by the college is only for girls. Though the hostel is the college place, it gives a home-like feel. The environment of the college hostel seems very safe, secure, healthy and comfortable. 24 x 7 water and internet facility is ensured. Food and accommodation provided by the hostel seem pleasant and hygienic.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network in the college is a powerful tool as it provides mentoring, professional guidance and employment opportunities. The campus career center takes advantage of the alumni network for internships and job opportunities. the alumni volunteer their expertise to help guide students interested in similar professions. The college even has influential people in important positions across the nation. Alumni network breeze is very positive towards the college.

Exam Structure

Our college examination structure consists of two-semester examinations per an academic year. In each semester, we have Internal and External Examinations. Internal examinations consist of two-mid term examinations and assignments for each theory subject and for laboratory practicals an internal lab examination is conducted. External examinations consist of end semester examination for each theory subject and an external lab examination for laboratory practicals. In the 5th semester, we have to give a seminar to gain 50 marks in internal examinations. In the 7th semester, we have to accomplish a project which is evaluated for 75 marks (in internal examinations only), known as Mini - Project. In the 8th semester, we have to accomplish another project which is evaluated for 300 marks (Internal examinations -100 marks and External examinations - 200 marks), known as Major - Project. In the last three semesters, we are provided with electives as theory subjects where one has to opt a subject from other courses of engineering

The minimum eligibility required to appear for EAMCET are a pass in intermediate examination or registered for intermediate public examination (10 + 2 ) and diploma conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education, with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent.
