Life in AJIDS

BDS is a branch of medicine which deals with people's facial asthetics and structure ,, helps in providing emergency care and protecting the tooth and other facial areas from various types of trauma and diseases ,, dentistry is not very easy and to be a good dentist you need to have interest and not be forced in the course , dentistry is all about how good your handwork is and how well u can treat and diagnose a patient , the institution teaches you to deal with daily life patient interactions and how to deal and convince them for a treatment

The year wise fee I paid was of rupees 5 lakh 50 thousand per year along with college fees of 90 k per year . This fee comes under the management quota which ranges from 3.5 lakh per year to 7 lakh per year depending on the year of joining . The total cost of fee can come up to 30 lakh for 4 year course with one year of internship. If u come under various quotas ur fee ranges from 1 to 2 lakh per year and if u come under merit quota u get ur fee as low as 80 k per year .

Every year there is one main cultural event that takes place in the month of February and march in which competitions takes place where the students can showcase their talents in various fields like dance singing sports arts etc , various other activities also takes place throughout the years in various other colleges in which u can take part to represent your college , various conferences takes place in different states in which you can present your topics and publish articles .

Firstly I took this college as it comes under the RAGIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCE ( RGUHS) which is a well known university and is recognised worldwide, the exams are quite competitive compared to other collages which makes the degree more valuable., the admission process is quite simple , firstly you need to clear the Neet exam and apply online for the colleges you wanna join , once u get the seat u come and complete ur paper work . There are also various agents who help you to complete ur admission process providing them with commissions

The faculty interactions with the students can vary from faculty to faculty , few staffs are kind and friendly to the students well few are horrible ,, every department has their own student's favourits and not so favourite ,, you need to be self dependent and take help from ur seniors in order to study and prepare for your exams , they guide you in a better way . There are 3 internal exams every year of theory and practical conducted by the college followed by a university exam by RGUHS of 100 marks in each theory and practical and the student should score atleast 50 % in order to clear the year in both theory and practical

If you stay in hostel you cannot get out of the campus after ur curfew time , the campus provides with a gym for both male and females , football fields, badminton courts and tables tennis courts. Various cafeterias and restaurants are located inside the campus and also outside the campus in a nearby radius. Usually the curfew for first years is 7 pm . Later changed according to which year u are studying in .
